glad to hear the watch is now repaired to its proper state. TAG are a nice brand , entry level for the beginner who is likely to start a whole series of watch buying as with me , started with the connected E3 then a LTD F1 ASTON MARTIN redbull one of 999. im very happy with both. am now into IWC and OEMGA line. lovely its a nice hobby but can become a bit obsessive to !!!
Glad it's sorted, no doubt something off with the automatic winding gear train, did you at least get the TAG Heuer service pouch/travel box for your wait?
There was definitely something wrong, before they checked it for the 2nd time ‘cause now, it’s working perfectly and it’s been a little over 2 weeks that i’ve been using it. And No, I didn’t get a service pouch/travel box for it.
Got my deposit down, seen the blue in person today and they've ordered the reverse panda in for later this week, going to see that first before deciding! the DATO dial looks stunning but the colour doesn't outweigh the lack of functionality with just the one subdial and no running seconds, the clean look works but not for me, equally the skipper is stunning and quirky but Blue or RP for me 😬
Hey, congrats! I think the Reverse Panda is the best amongst the 3. But i’m biased, ‘cause i really love it. Some would disagree, it’s an individual preference. But when you’re in the process of deciding which one to get, it is a bit hard since all of them are gorgeous!
@@gullie9004 They got the Blue in for me first and I spent around 40 minutes looking at it, funnily enough that was the first Glassbox that they've had in so pretty much everyone at the AD came to have a look 😄 I couldn't get over how playful it was and the tachymeter just rolling out of view... Have to check the Reverse Panda before I decide but logic would say the Reverse Panda will be more desirable in the future and therefor hold it's value more but my heart so far loves the Blue dial for its clean aesthetics! either way I get to choose one and its reserved for me till May(got to get the tax return out of the way first 😄)
@@randombloke10 😂tax return 1st! 😂 but i’m curious to how you would like the reverse panda. It’s a haaard decision, but i think you’ll instantly change your mind and get the RP! And it’s nice that they’ve reserved it for you. And ask for a Bracelet! It is a total makeover with a bracelet!
@@gullie9004 downsides of being self employed 😂 I will do, I made mention of the bracelet last time as it looked stunning on your video but I have a 2016 Carrera Calibre 5 with the 20mm bracelet(last gen bracelet) potentially that could fit too but it would be nice for the price if they can offer both 👌🏻 I do love the 3 unobstructed sub dials and the rhodium finish looks great in images
@@gullie9004 sooooooooo… they got the RP in today, went in after I finished work and I was not expecting the sub dials to be champagne coloured, really warm and they just instantly attracted my attention, truly an incredible design along with the characterful 12 o’clock date window… so I have reserved it 😄 they’re speaking to their management about getting the part number for the bracelet and hopefully that is going to be included. Cannot get over how different it is to the Blue dial and how the blue is so playful but the RP is just pure timeless design! I fell in love with another black dialed watch 😂
Well, comparing it to my speedmaster. You’re not wrong, the omega seems to have a better quality. Considering that they are almost the same price point.
@@gullie9004 I love the new direction Tag Heuer has taken in the last couple of years. But I'll still wait a few years; it seems they've reshuffled a few of their execs under the LVMH umbrella. Love this Carrera but the Carrera design is based on legibility; the fauxtina lume should be replaced and the hands should have a different color.
@@gullie9004 the irony lol. The Carrera was originally developed for ultimate legibility 😂. I always found that Japanese watch makers made better lume than the Swiss. No idea why.
@@originaltails01 it’s fine during the day, but i wear my watches at night and i just got used to the lumes of the Seiko,Omega, Tudor. So, this particular tag doesn’t get much night time wrist action😂 my aquaracer on the other hand was fantastic at night.
