Steven was in debt and unemployed, relying on benefits and struggling with his mental health issues. He'd tried to get out of debt before but everyone he contacted wanted to charge him a lot of money for the service.

But CAP was different, we offered a way to get out of debt for free. Plus Steven's local CAP worker, Dave, was there to be a support for the hard times in life. As the months wore on, Steven could see his debts going down as the repayments to creditors went out and he started to see a noticeable change in his mental health.

Lockdown has been tough and Steven has seen his mental health go on a bit of a rollercoaster, but he's able to say he is debt free and that makes such a difference!
