Watching a speedrun of any other game, you see people who have it down basically perfectly. In a record speedrun, normally, there are very few mistakes. What's amazing about this one is that there are still so many little mistakes, but it's still a record run. Just goes to show how impossible this game is.
Lumonen has since improved this speedrun time by an entire minute! And his sum of best segments say 2:04 so if he could execute every step the best he's done, he can go under 2m10s.
It's impossible the first run. I managed to finish the game after 4 years since I left the game for 3. So After a lot of months. Then, on the second attempt I finished the game in 15 minutes.

The crazy thing is this isn't even close to optimal. Still a lot of mistakes and slow portions even when going this fast. I wouldn't be too surprised if we see sub 2-minutes eventually.
Ok I was just watching other gamers playing, which made me feel like I wasn't sucking that much when I was recording for my channel but watching this made me question my existence
Rogertron 85 how about we send him this video? I know it might sound like cheating but I just don't want him to lose sanity. We could just give him the parts of the video of where he usually dies or struggles, like that shortcut you mentioned. Idk, just an idea to save Mark.

I remember when I saw this one for the first time and I felt like this was super amazing (still is pretty crazy) but now that I've played the game for a while too, I can run this in 4 minutes myself, so this video makes me feel special that I can do this too, but then again I see the newer videos of Lumonen doing these in 1 minute and 40 seconds and my dreams shatter to million pieces.
