She picks them young, ignorant of American laws and culture (I would have called the cops the minute that woman started shuffling through my stuff), and not entirely fluent in English. She charges them 3 months rent and either refuses to let them move in at all or harasses them until they leave....and if that doesn't work, she physically assaults them, then whines about being a feeble old woman. She's diabolical. She should be in prison.

@@mirsan6705 suing individual people is a waste of time and money because u will never actually collect if u win the lawsuit , they usually dont have a job on the books and they take all their money out of the bank so there is nothing to garnish or take from them , but small claims judges have to make a living so they will never admit to people that the majority of judgements are NEVER PAID .

Her rent is probably $400-600 or something like that. She's been only paying a tiny amount, and then charging potential unknowing roommates double, triple, quadruple to live there (most likely illegal), and then making the place so unbearable, they are forced to leave early, and she keeps their money because they "broke the lease." Quite the grifter. If you're into "Sex and the City" there was an episode where Carrie was talking about her apartment. She was paying $400/month for her rent-controlled apartment, but she had spent so much money on shoes that she couldn't afford to buy her apartment from her ex and Charlotte bailed her out by giving her an old engagement ring to help fund it.

Her age is her business. She doesn't have to tell.But that is not why she lost the case ok.
