We're getting ready for a fun trip with friends and we had a realization, this is the first big trip in 16 years we haven't had to arrange for a cat sitter to come take care of Missy. It's always been one of those "pre-trip tasks" to make sure we had someone lined up. How weird to not have to do that.

Walk a ferry to Bainbridge Island, eat ice cream and then eat clam chowder on the way back to Seattle. Happy birthday to Sherri.🎉

I’m 61 my husband of 39 years is 70. We are very active and run a cattle ranch. Our aches and pains are a new normal 😂

Every time I go to Seattle, I eat at Ivar’s Salmon House. It’s right on Lake Union. Muy delicious! And you see sea planes take off or land sometimes so get a table by the window. Most of the time I’ve done lunch. ~Joan in Calif

Have fun in Seattle. A new walkway opened recently connecting Pike Place to the Waterfront - Overlook Walk. Just by the Seattle Aquarium. Waterfront is cool to walk along. Depending on the weather, always take visitors on the ferry across to Bainbridge Island. Chill vibes over there. Go Hawks 💙💚

We’re hunkering down here in central Florida. We lost a tree during Helene, but it was a best case scenario since it didn’t fall across our driveway or on our fence. I’m a teacher. School is canceled for Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is to be determined. I live about an hour north and west of Disney, nice and far inland, about equidistant between the coasts. My biggest worry is losing power. Lots of people lost electricity during Helene. We luckily did not, but I worry about that with Milton. I gassed up my car yesterday for the week, but as of today, many gas stations have no gas.

The biggest gross part of the gun wall is the smell, especially in the summer. I recommend Kau Kau bbq in Chinatown.

Absolutely go to the Funko Pop Headquarters store in Everett (45 minutes ish from Seattle). It's 17,000 sq ft of gloriousness and you should all get Funko Pop's made of yourselves to commemorate the trip. You can do that for around $30 each.

Warning. When lived in San Diego my family was all Charger. I was a Broncos fan and bought tickets for my brothers and dad and me. It was back and forth broncos leading much of the time. Then right at the end, John Elway threw an interception in the end zone and Chargers ended up winning. All the way home they kept saying, thanks for the tickets!

We are prepping and packing now to evacuate. The aquarium I work at has been closed since Helene. I'm talking my mom in to us going to our hometown in Indiana. At least we will be close to family.

Watching the beginning of the video I saw you had Chinese food for dinner last night,too.. I had panda express for dinner last night for breakfast if you could believe that, it was too much food.. I know how you feel about your pet when you go on vacation who is going to take care of them and about two weeks ago I lost my dog, We Did have 3 dogs the parents and Son Dog the Parents are gone now…. I have never been to Seattle, but I have read book by Debbie Macomber who live there, you could take the seattle underground tour
