I'm glad this was explained because I thought it was the complete opposite. I thought if you started seeing blessings right after the new year, you must really be doing good. This was my first time preparing for Rosh Hashanah & now Yom Kippur. I've learned so much. Next month will make the first whole year of reading Torah. Since last December when I started following lectures from you, Rabbi Mizrachi & Rabbi Reuven, I've learned & done more with life than ever before. Well, now I'm kind of hoping these next two weeks aren't that easy because maybe that will mean my Teshuva was not good enough? It was also the first time learning about how to fast. Of course I've known people did it, but didn't know anything about it other than that. So I went into the 10 Days of Awe trying not to talk & eat, & that lasted 2 days. I was disappointed but also happy that I even tried it, so I guess that was semi-successful. But I'm motivated to keep practicing fasting regularly so that I can successfully do 10 days in a row next year, G-d willing. I've noticed improvements, like there is less anger, or if it is there, it is easier to deal with. The anger is rooted in PTSD-like things. Rabbi Reuven inspired me to give up anxiety meds a few months ago, so some things were harder but some were also easier after that. Still not happy with the overall picture of myself, but at least I'm on the right path. It's been amazing to notice how energies synchronize within all aspects of life, after realizing Torah is the only Divine Truth. These courses have all the answers I was looking for & beyond :) Baruch HaShem. Thank you for your wisdom & help :)

I'm crying after hearing this cos straight after Yom Kippur I got into a lift to go downstairs to get food for my puppy of 6 months, the doors closed and he got pulled up to the top of the lift, I had to break the mettle lead to save him and was stuck in this lift for one hour. I ONLY got through it after hearing this and knowing it's absolutely Hushem!!!!!

Hello Rabbi, I am really enjoying your words and videos. I hope that I can come up to the north and meet you in person. This time has been very tuff and sometimes it feels like my soul is restless and just want to be set free. But your videos really help me. And the Zohar has opened up my heart. Stay Safe and Shabbat Shalom.

In Hawaii we have what we call Hoopono pono, conflict resolution, forgiveness, acceptance, pardon, ancient times we had City of Refuse where people would be banished to stay outside society. Interesting idea Yom Kippur. On my mother's side I traced my roots to Jerusalem.
