Sonya...I am Catholic but I have so enjoyed all your recipes, organizational ideas and learning more about your faith...that I very much respect. Thank you for all your vids and I look forward to many more in the future.
Yes, I am a Roman Catholic sister as well, and Mrs. Sonja and her beautiful family inspire me with her love and devotion to her family, home and faith. God's blessings to this beautiful lady.
@@susann.1618 You should leave the religion invented by Rome and really come to the teachings of Jeshua (Jesus). Read carefully and realize how Jesus and the apostles kept the feasts of God ❤️
Love your tradition of asking for and receiving forgiveness which is a very important part of both Jewish and Christian traditions. I so enjoy your videos and watch all the time. The very close bond of you and your husband and children is so very inspiring to others and a joy to see. God bless your family.
I must have missed something, I didn't know you were pregnant!! Congratulations! Everything looks delicious as usual. The holiday sounds lovely even though it's a time of repentance.
Sonja, you look so lovely .. filled with such peace and happiness .. just perfect contentment. I think a woman looks most beautiful when she is expecting, and that is completely true with you. Your face is radiant and glowing, and to me you just seem to be in perfect bliss. I'm not Jewish, I'm a Christian, but it has been such a blessing for me to have found your channel -- learning about your customs, traditions, celebrations, and most especially your faith. Sending you love and saying a special blessing of prayer for you and your beautiful family 💜🙏🫄
You're so amazing at cooking and baking.i wish I was a better cook. Christians who follow God's Holy Days do keep this day, and to us, it is the day after the Messiah (Christ) returns, and He removes Satan and bounds him for 1000 years. It is a very joyous occasion to be with God forever & no separation ever again. Many blessings and love from Canada.
We to always break the fast with soup, a salad, a toasted baguette bread and a light dessert.. Wishing you and your family a blessed day of Atonement.. ❤from Canada 🇨🇦
@@jfs10 ... there are several sincere and appropriate greetings/wishes for Yom Kippur. As this is an extended (25+) hour fast, 'May you have an east and meaningful fast' is one. (Hebrew - Tzom kal). 'Shanahan tovah umetukah' - may you have a good and sweet year. A heartfelt 'easy fast' is appreciated.
Such a beautiful explanation of Yom Kippur ❤ And wow I need that French onion soup in my life for sure! Looks amazing! Wishing you a meaningful Yom Kippur ❤❤❤
Enjoy watching you show your preparations. A lot of work ! However, afterwards I have to go lie down and recover from all the work you put me through watching you ! 💕
I so admire you young lady. Thank you for sharing all this. I really do like each recipe you have shared. Here as well as other videos of yours. I pray for your family, for your heritage and your country.
Sonia you are an amazing cook everything you touch you make it look amazing and delicious I just can't stop watching all your videos the old ones and the new 😅❤
Thank you for a lovely video and message. It’s so important to teach our children to ask for forgiveness and give that example as parents. We try (with ups and downs) to live this on a daily basis, but how wonderful to have a special time in the year to do this so consciously as you explained. I am forever grateful for Gd’s great mercy. Slow to anger, abounding in love. ❤
Mazel Tov to Sonya, Shia and all the Prep Family kiddos! May you continue to have a sweet new year. What a wonderful blessing Baby Prep will be to your dear family! I’m also Catholic, but I enjoy learning about your faith and practices. This weekend I’m going to be making my first sourdough starter, using your recipe, Sonya. I can hardly wait to make my first loaf. I live alone, so I will be making smaller loaves or maybe rolls. I may also try challah sometime soon. Continues blessings to the Prep Family!
Wonderful video reminding me about Yom Kippur. Also, thanks for the explanation and the delicious looking recipes! I’ve been craving French onion soup so this video was perfect timing!💙💛🪴
I love this kind of video where you explain to us the meaning of the holiday and how you celebrate it, including all the traditions and customs. Thank you! ❤️
My mom made your honey chicken for Yom Kippur and it was DELICIOUS!!!! And the round challah bread you made for Rosh Hashana came out perfect I had to take a picture to show you lol!! ❤❤
Sonya, I loved this introduction and your explaining the spirituality of Yom Kippur-you helped it to occur to me that following the celebration of the new year with Rosh Hashana, what more appropriate, positive and helpful way to continue that turning of the page than making ourselves right with God, with others and with ourselves. A clean sheet! A fresh start. And I love how you call your children "kiddos"! I'm 70, and when I was growing up the special adults in my life with whom I had a loving relationship, would call us lovingly, "kiddos" as you do with yours. Don't hear it much anymore- praying that you and your family will have a blessed Yom Kippur and joyous celebration following the fast.
Hi Sonya! I Enjoy your show. I am not Jewish, however I have been in the homes of Jewish families. I was invited to a Thanksgiving holiday dinner where I was introduced to a Brisket meal. The Brisket melted in my mouth, yum, yum, yummy, lol. Brisket, potatoes, carrots... cooked in a slow cooker. My question is, have you considered cooking Brisket meals on your show? Don't just think about it, do it pleasssse. Thank you Sonya.
As always, amazing recipes! And just an fyi to everyone watching....I bought the Kiwi knife that Sonya uses😊It is FANTASTIC! So precise and sharp . It comes in a two pack...even my college student daughter loves it....
Sonja - my daughter thinks that you are going to have twins again! Ha Ha Ha She wants you to have 2 little girls. Whatever the baby is or babies are they will be beautiful and very loved. I can't wait to see the new addition to your lovely family!! Another blessing or two to your family!!!
Greetings from California. Shalom. Happy Rosh hashona & yom kippur. Shana tova. Toda raba Mrs. Sonya for an fantastic cooking class. Shalom aleichem from our channel: Australian Parakeets Stars
I like these kind of videos. I would like it if you do a video about dressing modestly and show us a store where there is kosher clothing to help those of us who want to pick out modest clothing and also kosher kitchen items.
I think your children, and your whole family, will draw closer to God just by drawing closer to you, your faith is palpable, and so loving and beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing all of your life with us. And especially your joy!
Thank you for sharing Sonya 😊 Wanted to free up some stove top space during my holiday cooking and looked for a caramelized onion recipe in the oven! Yes, it does exist 😊 the recipe I used was from the site "no spoon needed" and it helped me so much If you ever need to free up your stove top for other things like me, definitely something to consider doing in the oven 😊 Gmar Hatima Tova to you and your family and everyone on this channel ❤
Gmar Chasima tova! Hope you are feeling well. Totally agree with long Shul time not being ideal with small kiddos. Finally, this video was a beautiful explanation of Yom Kippur and a real kiddush Hashem.
Wow thank you so much for clarifying that as a mom it is not required to go to shoul. I was planning on attending and for a reason not able to. I would have felt guilty, but you just saved me from that.
Sending heartfelt wishes of a meaningful and blessed Yom Kippur to everyone, regardless of their denomination. P.S. I used a few of your Rosh Hashanah recipes this year and they were delicious. Many thanks!
Thank you for sharing Sonya I watched it immediately and shared with my Pastor as we attempt to celebrate Yom Kippur to the very best of our abilities each year ❤ You are so cute and positive to watch. God bless you and your family on this special feast ❤
Greetings dear Sonya, very grateful to you and your family, each video´s inspirational, teaching and example, it´s a great blessing for many families, best wishes in this new year and festivities, you always take time to transmit a video to us, you´re wonderful.🤗
I didn’t realize they couldn’t discuss anything about their pregnancy until after their baby is born. Interesting.. Congratulations to you and your family!! Many Blessings!!
Thank you Sonya. You inspired me to make Challah bread. My Husband is in love with this bread lol! I sprinkled everything bagel spice. It was a hit with family and friends. I now have added this to my weekly baking. Also Artisan bread and sweet bakes. Many blessings to you and your lovely family.
thank you for sharing this! I wish I would’ve have seen it before Yom Kippur. I was under the weather and at home with an 18 month old and a 1 month old and was struggling to focus during prayer. I’m hoping you and your family had an easy and meaningful fast ❤ G’mar chatima tova
Ms. Sonya you are glowing! You look so beautiful ❤Thank you forthe wonderful recipes you shared, of course my mouth is watering, especially the onion soup and the garlic bread got me, I haven’t had it in years 😊. I hope you and your family will have a beautiful holiday and lots of blessings.
Thank You so Much for the effort you put forth to make and share these recipes. I especially am touched when, ooops, this isn't the bread I'd like to get but they were out; or adding about a quarter cup of water to get the right consistency....and love hearing the kids.
She mentioned in a video not to long ago back that shes constantly asked if shes expecting, and that to keep in mind different angles and as a women who has had mutiple child your body changes over time, so lets not assume guys
@odilegabayengel4192 that fact doesn't actually matter in this case, I was simply speaking to those in the comments that are assuming she is expecting and I was saying what she said in a video not very long ago, to Erich she also said she wasn't expecting.. and even if she is that's wonder but there's no need to say that incase she's not and that would be rude.
Thank you for your amazing recipes and for justifying eating, on occasion, fried food in moderation. I agree! I’m partial to fried potato latkes … any time of year. Wishing you an easy and meaningful fast. ✡️❤️✡️❤️✡️❤️
