Never pull someone out with a ball hitch. You can google plenty of stories where the ball breaks off and ends up going through someone’s head. If you’re in a pinch put the eye of the rope into the receiver and put the hitch pin through to secure it. Or for like $40 you can buy a shackle hitch that’s meant for that shit.
Air down to about 15-18psi and keep momentum. All terrains are way better in the sand than MT's. With tundras you also have to take alot of the 4x4 assistance off. Auto lsd and traction control off if not your power will be reduced with slippage.
Dammm Mark look like yall having a blast bro. I haven't had a chance to take my truck out to Off Road yet but did test out a little bit off roading nothing big. Watch all your videos. Love it.
These new tundra needs to put on or add either a factory 4.6L V8 and 5.0L turbo Engine as another option.. believe me, this 3.5L turbo Hybrid aint helping much for towing over 8k lbs load or sand climbing
@@MarkBrenner interesting. It did sound like it was lacking power but I know that truck is a beast. Momentum is your best friend in those deep dunes brother.
The area footage was awesome. How much experience do you have 4 wheeling on sugar sand? Look into running a different tire out on the dunes, it will help a lot
@@MarkBrenner nothing fancy just 21 Ram 1500 4x4 6" RC lift and 35" just wanting to really test it out lol loved the trail you and your friend went not that long ago looked Fun
