I take everything out of my freezer. Hit it with a blow dryer and the ice falls off the side. Scoop it up. Wipe it down. Put the food back. Takes about 15 minutes.

Our list of projects is growing. Most of our projects are started but not finished. Mostly we start them and then life happens and its taking us forever to get back to them. In our living room we are taking down this awful crown modeling, the previous owners used something like 4 inch decking nails instead of finishing nails, so its messing up the drywall. Plus we keep finding these very random surprises where they lazy on some of the repairs/upgrades they did. Once we get it down we need to putty the holes and then paint. Our powder room we are replacing the vanity but in order to do that we need to paint and take out the broken pedestal sink. We also need to stain the trim around the windows that we had replaced 4 years ago now.... Also need to have husband replace the garbage disposal so I can have the other half of my sink back in the kitchen. Then there are the small projects of putting up new towel racks/holders in the master bathroom, replace some door handles. We moved in to this house coming up on 5 years ago and its hard to do all these projects and updates when we both work full time. And life just gets in the way. Plus after working 40+ hours a week you just want a break/time to yourself. I hate having to take my PTO time to work on projects at home... One day it will all get done, just not today ;)

We are currently working to help my best friend after her husband died unexpectedly. It is an enormous task that must be done between work(my work load changed recently when I asked for an got another commercial property to manage and got it but it is..... in a different state!). I am working 7 days a week and have been for months. It will be worth it I KNOW! Please don't ever think that you are not getting done what needs to be done. Life is a progression.....ALL OF IT!

Yes! Throw it out! When we sold our house I got rid of so much stuff. Then we had to put everything in storage for 6 months until we moved into our next house and It made me realize we could live with so much less so when we moved into our new house I spent time going through boxes as I unpacked and got rid of even more stuff. But I have realized it a constant process. Every week I try to go through a drawer, cupboard, or small area of my home to keep it maintained. It has also really curbed my spending because now I think twice about what I really want to spend my money on and bring into our home. It’s also made cleaning a lot easier with less stuff. 😂 anyway great video!

Yes after years and years a person needs to do a de-clutter. I found in my 20's and early 30's a person buys stuff just because they can. Then late 30's and 40's you notice your house is full and it weighs on you! I know that the last couple of years I am just getting rid of stuff. And yes, I have come to the conclusion it takes time to sell items. If it isn't worth much and it isn't good enough to donate I just get rid of it. It frees your mind, IMO that is self care, you feel so good after ward. Hard part is keeping up with it. lol But I sure think twice before buying stuff now. haha I love your videos - thank you! 🥰

Just finished my closet,and dressers. This coming week, going to drop off load at thrift store and take a lot of my better clothes, some with tags on to a place that’s buys them if good condition, might as well get a couple of bucks, I have to replace a lot, Lost about 30 lbs. Then it’s off to shop for new carpet for bedrooms,living room,and stairs, really not looking forward to that! I’m a gal who cannot make a decision 😰 To stressful and to many choices🙄

It is so hard getting any project done jen! I feel ya girl! This morning I was fed up with the disaster of the kitchen. I put dishes away, cleaned dishes, cleaned off a ice cream stain that I purposely left to see if anybody would clean it off! NO BODY DID! Sooooo , I cleaned and scrubbed the counter and cabinets because it had dripped! OMG! I work outside the home 2 Jobs! Also, I find I work better under a time restraint and I'm so fed up I just do it. Throw the mess out. That's my motto when it's gotten too far and I'm just over it! I didn't need it anyways! 😅 So, a question I have for meal planning. I was doing so good but then I'm not. Lol I started doing keto/low carb for myself and my family isn't. How do I plan means like that? I am so tired of thinking what's for dinner. I know I can have a salad and be done but that's nit gonna fly with everyone eles. Alot of times I throw chicken in the crockpot or I send my husband to Sam's for a rotisserie chicken. I tend to fix the Sam things every week and I know my family is bored. I am bored fixing it! Lol😂 Any suggestions please.. ❤🎉

Loved your video. You are such an inspiration each and every time you turn a video loose. i am working on getting rid of at least half of what i have. It is bogging me down to where I am tired keeping things I no longer need, want, or have a good space to house it. It all started with your spices so thank you so much! It is refreshing to see another working mom and you being so real. I’m working internships, getting my engineering degree (graduate December🎉), homeschooling 3 kids, and am always working on some project. Im currently decluttering as much as possible and some stuff just gets thrown away. I try to recycle, donate, and give away as much as possible but sometimes it’s just trash I haven’t managed to throw away yet. For every nasty comment you may get, you’re reaching many more people and changing lives for the better.

I enjoy your videos. I was a working mom for a few decades. Now, I am retired and a grandma to 3 littles. One thing I learned later in life is to not over commit. Set realistic expectations for yourself. Stress levels are much lower that way. Blood pressure is in the normal range now 😉

Hi Jen, A dumpster is a great idea! I don’t need a dumpster, but I will be calling a company to srpet rid of items too old and in disrepair to sell. I leased an extra trash bin for the same reason. I saved stuff for years waiting to find a good container or time to donate or sell items because I felt guilty about throwing it away. Once I decided it was okay to throw things away I was on a roll And didn’t look back

Girl - we have rented so many dumpsters. We are allowed to put out one can a week and nothing else. We’ve always got boxes (and yes we have tried giving them away). We also have an amazing amount of old computer stuff that can’t be donated because it doesn’t work with anything any more. I think clutter reproduces while you sleep.

People always have to be negative. We moved after living in a house for 5 years and did some renovations in that time. We had so much stuff that had to be trashed so we rented a dumpster. It was the best $300 we spent. A tree even fell on our house destroying our fence and outdoor furniture. It all went in the dumpster with old flooring, kids toys, bags of garbage. It would have taken use multiple trips to the dump to get rid of it all. I only donated clothing and kitchen items.

I get jealous of those moms who are at home and have time to clean! I work two jobs and have 1 day off. I make this big list of cleaning things to do but get maybe 4 things done. I think the things won’t take as long as they do. I’m always wrong! 😂

Love your videos! What mascara have you been using. Your lashes look great. My favorite mascara changed their formula and I am shopping for a new brand. When you say to freeze grapes with Jello, are you saying just sprinkle them with dry Jello powder?
