Man, Jack Black is seriously one of the most confident guys out there. You never see him getting tripped up by any situation. You're an inspiration Jack!
I feel like he was maybe overcompensating when he was younger because he lacked confidence and then he just became the persona. I could be way off base. Either way, I'm a fan and I'm glad he's jumping into the deep end here. Way to go Jack!
@Thomas Robinson unless you are a health expert who has examined the man you don't really know what you are talking about. Yes you can be big and be healthy however, it's a major stress on your body, heart, lungs, nervous system you name it. I am glad so many people are on the "accept yourself and be comfortable in your skin" band wagon. It's a definite improvement over fat shaming which is rampant. But if your fat friend wants to get into shape you are being more supportive by encouraging their choice not saying, "naw you're cool bro just be comfortable."
I was expecting a lot worse when you took off your shirt, stick to it, we need a healthy jack black. We grew up with you and we want to grow old with you too. Keep it up.
@the business handler When people use the word "ripped" in the context of fitness, they mean to achieve a low body fat %, which is impossible to do without a calorie deficit. kettlebells won't necessarily achieve that.
@@takjackson yeah but you know what he aint got bad genetics dude. i could easily see him growing those guns and shoulders while slimming down once hes in full swing! i gotta agree with the OC, jack dont look as bad as you would assume, he COULD get ripped af if he wanted i think. a swole af jack black would be kinda awesome to see but you know what? i think we can both agree its just cool to see him getting out there tryna be healthier and take care of himself.
@@MagicOfBarca yes, he's been struggling with weight issues all his adult life, like many folks. I would like him to be on this Earth for much longer for more laughs and entertainment. It pains me to know that many comedians in my lifetime have left early for eating disorders, addiction, mental health or freak accident.
I feel it would be a disrespect to say I'm a Jack Black fan, just because I've only casually watched some of his material. However, with that in mind I think I know enough about this guy to say, yes, the world would be a better place with him being in it. Wishing for the best.
There are plenty of filthy rich people who are overweight, unhealthy, whatever. And plenty of (relatively) poor people who are jacked af. The drive to be healthy has to come from within. It can be influenced by your environment and those around you, but it's something you have to cultivate within yourself.

I've thought jack black would be a great choice for a long time. He's got the right build if he puts on more muscle mass, doesn't need to get shredded. And I think he has the chops to do the role seriously.

The trainer’s argument about going barefoot in the gym isn’t entirely correct. He said humans evolved barefoot (which is true) but they didn’t evolve on concrete, but grass which is soft. We wear shoes to mimic the cushioning that grass would provide. Some exercise are better barefoot though, to better technique and build muscles more properly.
Just wanted to add to the comments of that I hope Jack really sees this through. I mean his body size has always been a part of his humour but really for everything he has done for everyone the guy really deserves to be able to take of himself and give himself that longevity and health both physically and mentally. Also if it inspires anyone else to take more care of themselves then that's just another great bonus from this.

Seriously Jack I don't even think you understand how great what your doing is, in a world of "celebrity workouts and diet" which are just normal workouts and diets, you show the real side of exercise and a real workout, rather then just focusing on "belly toning" and "glute defining workouts" you can't spot reduce fat, and your showing what it takes to become healthy, and Jesus your squat form is amazing
Just started going back to the gym again. The first week is always the hardest! The first "day after" is always the most painful. You got this Jablinski!
And while the first week is the hardest it's the easiest one to come back, it's much harder to push yourself to go to the gym after the first few weeks

Jack, just because you’re a celebrity the journey to fitness isn’t easy. It comes down to what your made of, not what you’ve made. When it comes down to it, I know it’s a struggle but you know it’s getting that focus just like you did with your music and acting and do it. It gets way easier as you do more, results take time and that’s the reward in my eyes. We would all love an update, so as fans we can all motivate you, and you can motivate us. Never give up man!

I just lost 100lbs Jack Black, I started in June of 2019. Steel Cut Oatmeal, Protein Shake, Banana every day for my first meal. I still eat a satisfying amount of great food every day and it just keeps melting off. Intermittent fasting!!! 16-8

@@Kuroperrock Basically, only eat from 12PM to 8 PM. Also don't consume any calories via beverages before then either, that'll break your fast. Water, coffee (no sugar/creamer), hot tea (no sugar).
