I am so grateful I happened to find this video! Thank you for a very thorough explanation of what every tab means and how to organise my content. I have been struggling for a few days already, but now I am ready to launch my first class.

Thank you Soooo, much for this easy to understand, straight to the point Google classroom lesson. Presenting the Student and Teacher view side by side made it easy to follow..Excellent lesson.
Clear and concise. Thank you. For some reason, when I try to enter classroom code to get student view, I get this: "Something went wrong Couldn't join the class. Check the code, the account, and try again.". Was I supposed to change my email account? My district only allows district email to access our google calssrooms.
I absolutely love this video (Thank you so much), but the gifs throw me off at times. Especially with the split screen, there is so much movement it's hard to follow what's happening on screen for visual learners.
Thank you for this well presented tutorial. I have followed step by step your instructions. I have managed to create materials and assignments (as you have shown very clearly) but when I copy the class code to another google classroom it says the code is invalid. I have tried re-typing, copying and using different accounts but it doesn't seem to work. Any idea what could be wrong?
Trying to set up google classroom. When I click the plus sign the I it option is to join a class. No option for teacher. I am a member of one classroom as a student. This may have established the setting. How can I create a class for my students? Is there another way to create a class as a teacher other than the plus sign in the top right?!
Hello! What a fantastic video! When I sign in as a student, there is no "classwork" tab. Instead, all of the assignments are posted on the stream out of order and completely unorganized. Is there any way to add the "classwork" tab to the student view?
Yes . Its never too late and formal education never does replace experience. You have experience and that makes you a better student. Go ahead do join whatever you would like to do
Yes! go into the settings gear and you will see the controls for students posting there. Also, attend our webinar on Tuesday and we'll be answering questions like these!
Hello ma'am it's quit god and helpful ..... For this pendamic Teaching Platforms ..... But I have one que .... How to grade students assignments and count all students progress at once ? With the help of google classroom .....
How did you make it so you are shown in the lower right corner, teaching, as you go over things on the screen. I'd like the students to see me while we are going over info or a worksheet.
@ about 9:50. I want an Assignment from one Classroom to be copied into 3 other different Classrooms under the same Topic name that I have in the first Classroom. Once the Assignment is generated in the first class, after choosing the different classes I want to copy to, under the FOR dropdown menu, do I have to POST (not Save Draft) the Assignment? Essentially Posting the copied Assignments to the 3 different classes. Then going to each of those different classes to edit that Post so I can save it as a Draft, because I don't want my students to see it just yet. Basically I'm trying to organize a years worth of the same .pdf files into the same named Topics in 4 different Classrooms but I want to assign the .pdf files at different times in the year. I don't want to keep hunting back into my DRIVE to find a file every few days.
Thanks so much for this presentation. I've used Google Classroom in the past but no to this extinct. Can you share or send me a link to the First Assignment In Google Classroom document? I'd really love to use it with my students.
I have come to realize that students can view the private comments before I "return" their work, but I'm wondering if they can see the document comments I make before returning their work. ?
Thankyou for this, it is really excellent. Only issue I had with it, was it was difficult at times to see where your pointer was going due to its small size and colour and your dexterity in using the program...you are super fast. Is there any way you could highlight the pointer in red or have it larger for the slightly visually challenged.
