Thank you so much for your positive feedback on this video! I truly love creating videos that are content based that I know other teachers can use to improve their teaching practices! Based on your comments, my next EDTech Made Easy video will be on all my best tips and tricks for organizing your Google Classroom and using it efficiently (these are all small things I've learned recently that I feel most people don't know). The next EDTech Made Easy video after that will be on how to digitize assignments to use on Google Classroom (such as graphic organizers). I'm so happy you all love this series as much as I do and I truly hope you are gaining some professional development that you can take back to your classroom!
It’s not only teachers you’re influencing, but also almost teachers that might gain something from these videos. I personally consider myself to be an almost, almost teacher. In case you were wondering, I’m in 8th grade 😂😂 but still. Also, even if I don’t NESSECARILY use this knowledge right now, I still truly appreciate how much effort and time you put into making these videos for everyone and that impacts me in its own way. Have a great day 😁😘 love from CA
Love you am in alabama school does not in tell August 8 school es may 24 and its July 27th and my brother bithday is july 30th and I'm going to 4th grade love you
I've been watching a lot of these distance learning videos (I've seen many or yours) and yours are the best. Your explanations are thorough and without ambiguity. You speak rather quickly but it keeps the listener alert and interested. Thank you so much for helping me become adept at doing things that I previously knew absolutely nothing about.
This is my first step into digital communicating with students. I am blown away by the options you are showing me in a such a short time. I wish that I become as clear and helpful for my students as you are for me. Thank you so much for your video !
Thank you Michelle!!! I was a little afraid to learn a new platform for school, but as usual you broke down the steps and made it very easy to get started. I am also a 4th Grade teacher and we are implementing using the Google Classroom next Monday. I watch all of your videos and just love how open and honest you are. I am wrapping up my 18th year & still have a lot to learn. Some of my best ideas have been encouraged by you. Thanks again for all you do & stay safe! I am trying to keep my positive pants on! Nichole in Michigan
you are sooooooo adorable thank you thank you... so i live in italy and italian teacher told me last week my high school english classes are going on gsuite... and last night she wanted to train me on it.. lets just say it was a sleepless night and you have given me the light at the end of the tunnel... big hugs and thank you!
This is great for a teacher who struggles with technology, I was looking for an advanced answer to something but I did share this with my school because it's chocked full of valuable information!
Did you know that if you turn in an assignment like 5-10 minutes before it’s due it says “Phew! Just in time!” But only true procrastinators will know that
Thank you for your overview. You have a very friendly vibe, that you do not make people like me, feel stupid for not knowing the basics of technology. Thank you for making technology accessible, relatable, and tangible for me.
Thank you, I have watched many of your videos several times. Great help. I have been pausing and re-watching the parts I need to help me complete my assignments. A million thanks.
Thanks for this helpful video Michele! For one who is just getting started with remote learning, it was very informative and helpful! I appreciate you time and effort in helping so many teachers during these trying times!
Me: about to be a freshman in college, watching this even though I’ve been using google classroom since I was a freshman in high school😂 Love your videos so so much. They make me so excited to be a teacher!
I'm in a teacher education program now and prepping for digital observations due to COVID restrictions. I'm familiar with Google Docs, Slides, etc but not Google Classroom, which is what my district uses. Trying to get a head start on how it operates. This video was incredibly helpful and easy to follow. Thank you!
This was very helpful since I am an absolute BEGINNER! Please do a tutorial on digitizing. Thanks. You're a great teacher. I was able to grasp the concepts AND setup my classes!
This is my first time watching how to use Google Classroom. Your tutorial is amazing and got so much techniques to use google classroom. I am Tibetan and helping Tibetan chikldren in Math learning when they are all stay in thier homes due to lockdown. I need to know more about Google Classroom usage and hope to get lots of help from you. Thank you.
You are in Tibet. How very interesting . This is my first time learning as well. i am a teaching living in Berkeley, California.......maybe you and I could communicate about our classes. i am also an elementary school teacher and our schools have been online since March 12th. They will be online starting in August. This is a new world of learning for all of us!!!! All the very best to you!!!
Thank you so much for this step- by-step, clear, concise and user friendly tutorial. It is very helpful for those of us who are technologically challenged.
After spewing through several Google Classroom videos, your is the first that I was able to sit through without being frustrated....I am a Resource Center Teacher (Grades 1/2) who before this "Hot Mess" occurred was working with students (in person) and the work was assigning/ working with "Ditto Sheets"....the district wasn't at a 1:1 ratio with computers and I needed "Paper" evidence from my students for their IEP'S....everything worked out....NOW....I am chasing after my students via text, telephone, Google Meet, in short ....I am "POLICING MY STUDENTS".... and to add to my Nightmare my Boss wants me to have a Google Classroom with certain postings....my Boss (Who I Love dearly) gave me a "One on One" but I am slow to adapt at it....I am also pessimistic about my students transitioning as I have seen my second graders get lost clicking on the wrong assignment through my classroom teachers Google Classroom, I can only imagine what the first grade is going to do. She wants schedule grids and stuff in the room....I've been teaching for over 20 years, so technology is intimidating....Aside from my boss helping my for an 1.5 hours ( and I am GREATFUL), I have had "ZERO" training on Google Classroom....and I am a person who likes to ask questions, and since Google's idea of answering questions is a FAQ page and DO NOT BELIEVE in human interaction, that doesn't "Bode Well" with me....I am going to look at your next video....wish me luck!!!!
Harold, I'm reading your comment about getting started with Goggle Classroom and wondering how it'd work with young students...so, how did it go? Did they learn how to navigate the assignments and materials? Did you get more comfortable with it?
Thank you for your content. It is truely quality. I teach Army Cadets (13-18 year old) and we don't have a single way to do testing or a way to track it/ mark it. After I found your video (by accident) 12 hours ago, I have been non-stop trying to make content for testing. THANK YOU!!!!!!
Thank you so much for a comprehensive summary of Google Classroom for beginners. I'm a new substitute teacher & there's so much information I need to know. I watched your video three times, so as to catch things I might have missed the first time around, and it helped. Wonderful video.
Thank you so much for all of the videos you have for the google classroom and google slides tutorials. They are amazing and you are so positive in the way you present the information.
I found you at the perfect moment in my life. you are God sent. Be blessed abundantly. You have saved me a lot. I was really at cross roads about using this app. lol. thank you
Good Morning, I am a teacher from Mumbai, India. Your guidelines are very helpful as we are facing a school shutdown since last 45 days. Thank you Bharat Saroopa
I too am happy that I found you! Right on time, loving the upbeat presentation, inspiring! We (worldbeat books) have some Google classrooms to present for teachers in New York, Georgia and LA Unified Schools coming this fall. I see you have a series of these. Wonderful! Thank you for sharing, being here! Good luck and best wishes! **********!
Michelle, please make a student tutorial that we can share with our kids right now. I would love to use your video in combination with edpuzzle to make sure they learn how to use Classroom.
This is all good if you have internet service and computer of some kind. I learn that Mexico is reaching out to all students bringing them classes into their own homes with no hassle, no headache to get on line. ,VIA LOCAL TV STATIONS. .How smart. Most everyone owns a tv. Truly remarkable, no child left behind!
I love your energy, enthusiasm and knowledge! It would be great for us beginners, though, if you could slow down a little or make a separate video at a slower pace. Thank you for sharing your time and talents!
Just got a job teaching high school Spanish. I’ve only taught for one year at another school and have been worrying like crazy! Thank you for easing the prep stress with this helpful info :).
This seems very similar to a software that I know most are familiar with, which is called Blackboard. But I like how this seems more easy to use. Blackboard can get very confusing , but I can see this getting confusing too because each year/semester you would have to relearn blackboard because it would be a new teacher, which means a new format. Great video, I always love your content!
Thank you so much!!! My anxiety level went from being through the roof to being manageable as I am being "thrown" into the world of Google Classroom due to state mandated closure.
Hey Michelle when I was in school my teacher would often give us assignments through Google classroom it is pretty cool how she can do that now mind you I am graduated high school now but i miss it
This is fantastic - thank you! I will need to listen more than once, of course - but you have made the video complete and concise for beginners!! Thanks again!
Thank you so much for this Michelle! Any other in-depth looks at google classroom coming this summer??? Please do more of these!!! Also are you considering posting your math notes to TPT? I know you were thinking about it last summer and I would absolutely love to purchase them!
Please do a video on how to link an old Google form quiz to your new Google classroom. I'm also very interested in seeing how to link articles for research papers. I teach 2nd grade.
Tish Lance Hi Tish! I teach second grade too! I was wondering if goggle classroom would be appropriate for second. I have one-to-one chrome books for my students. Has google classroom worked well for you? I would love to hear from you.
@@jacquieng I have used it for writing assignments and quizzes. I really like grading writing in Google classroom because I didn't have to carry home all that paper.
Hello! I am Rose Jane , a grade 8 teacher. I do really like your vlog for it has a nice quality of content and output. Mind if I ask what camera and what kind of video editor did you use? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Rose Jane
I am working on my Google Classroom for next school year, and I was wondering if this could be easy to use for a 2nd grade classroom. Thank you for your time, and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Thanks for such a great explanation actually, I'm here because I have a question can I do live streaming teaching in google classroom? so I can answer the questions that students ask right away instead of reading comments
Hello, I am a teacher and so grateful indeed to have come across this channel, it is specific and very easy to understand. MOre power to you! Godbless you more with wisdom
I have a question. If I want to add parents so they will receive notifications do I add them under the student tab? Thank you for your great videos!! They are very helpful!
My immense gratitude for such a detailed video. I am a primary school teacher and need to be proficient at Google Classroom. I look forward to your other videos.
