Hey untoldforce, the modpack you gave for the server is really neat looking! I'm downloading a few and was wondering which mod added the "terminal" you were using in your inventory to take items out of.
What was the length and curve radius set on those switching points that allowed the tracks to run parallel to each other yet still provide a way to switch back and forth as need be? The curves have always been the death of me since I always wish to make realistic curves with appropriate turning radii, but I always have issues lining things up just right like what you did there.
That's one of the most frustrating parts of the mod! The Immersive Railroading developer, cam, said that he was going to try to rewrite the Track-API framework to have a more intuitive structure. Until then, you can always look at these values: new switch guides for standard gauge 1 block gap: 23 + 24 2 block gap: 30 3 block gap: 37 4 block gap: 48 5 block gap: 54 Note that this only applies to right-hand switches. Left hand switches are different
how do you make the immersive railroading manual.....I can do all the immersive engineering stuff, but nowhere do I see how yo make the manual in order to refer to stuff....
Is there a trick to laying curves that aren't 90 degrees? Whenever I try to do 45's or more/less it throws off the alignment of the straight pieces using the fixed positioning. I know how to use the difference positioning settings but it's still annoying and slower than using the fixed setting.
I am playing on 1.12.2 so when ever I go to the railroading button using scroll, click, and other ways to equip items it makes my game crash. I would like to know why.
The mod RFTools Dimensions lets you create custom dimensions. I created a dimension where the oceans are made of liquid steel. I used pumps to extract the steel and several Tinker's Construct smelteries to form it into blocks.
