I really do like this element as well. I’ve really enjoyed the last year of stamping on these calendars and using some of my embellishments as just a fun element. Some of scrapbooking for me is just the sun element to it.

Super helpful video, thank you! I’ve never done project life but used to scrapbook traditional 12x12 albums. I wanted to get back to it last year, but felt so overwhelmed with where to start again. I’ve decided to start with this pocket page approach for this year and keep it super simple. Love all the tips you shared, I’ll be following along.
Always... that is my motto now. Progress... not perfect. Making progress, getting something done, or started on is way better than holding out for perfection.

I find that I've always wanted both... I want to be creative, and I want it to be fun, but I also want it to be simple, and something I can keep up with. I think it can totally be both!!!! It just takes putting a system together and knowing what is important to you. I'm so glad you enjoy the video and I hope you will follow along this year. I'm always around if you ever need help with a project.
Great video! I’m switching this year to 6x8 for 2 reasons. One, I just cannot lift the 12x12 albums anymore as I they are so heavy & two, my boys are all grown up so I have less to document now.
Are the Becky Higgins dividers for each month? I have about 8 packs of them but have never opened them. I’m on board with you! I’m going to start monthly in a 12 x 12 primarily with the same A size page protectors but I will include stories that fit other page protectors. I have a huge, huge assortment of them. I may also include a 12 x 12 layout every once in a long while. I may enjoy the flexibility of not being so structured or I may end up liking structure. I don’t know. I’m still cleaning from just having completed DD, all 31 days in two 8 x 10 Ali Edwards binders. Haven’t done project life since May 2018. Excited to get back on board. Thank you so much for this video. I have my binders. They don’t match but I want to use up what I have.
I love the approach. Being really flexible and just seeing how it goes and seeing what you like will be so good. Depending on what dividers you have, they could be monthly if you had any of the Clementine dividers, I would totally purchase them from you. I think back in the day they came with 12 standard, so you would have them for each month. I like them as an added bit of texture in my album.
Just checked. No clementine. I have Happy Edition, sunshine edition, honey edition, two heritage edition and two blank or clear editions with labels. Cool. I’ll open them later today and check them out. My lower back is killing me. Pulled it yesterday picking up a roll of wrapping paper. At 64, I can just twist the wrong way. Usually only happens twice a year. Back to bed for me. Sorry I have no Clementine.
The first thing I would offer is to start today this month moving forward and to put “catching up” out of your mind for just a little bit. The thing that is going to help motivate you is going to be to see progress happening and sometimes if we get stuck in trying to get caught up, we never see progress and so we are constantly discouraged. I am a firm believer and getting caught up is not that hard once you are feeling motivated and inspired to do it. I just caught up on Kayla and Violet albums for three years, 2021, 2022 and 2023, with in a two week. Because I was feeling motivated and inspired to do it .
