Hi Sergei I’m Justin. Do you have a video on reading & writing CSV files in JavaScript? Either through AE script or VisualStudio & NodeJS. I have been using yours and Animoplex’s tutorials to learn AE expressions to animate a videogame style Heads Up Display map from real-time GoPro GPS, Accelerometer and Gyro data recoded in CSV files. I got everything working but have reached a massive calculation bottleneck in rendering. Basically I am using the gyro data to rotate the map to match the camera direction but the data is in current Rotation Speed which need to be convert to Direction from starting orientation. Because AE expressions don’t have memory between frames, every new frame I need to loop the csv call, read, divide by time between frames and add up the accumulation of all previous frames. On a 60fps GoPro clip the loop has to run tens of thousands of times per frame by the 8min mark. The first clip I rendered took 22hrs and I have more clips to do. So I am trying to learn JavaScript to pre-calculate Gyro CSV as a new Direction CSV.

Anybody else having trouble finding the extendscript in 2021? It's as if Adobe took it down. Can't seem to find it anywhere Edit: Has been found. You need to allow the CC desktop app to view older apps. Do this from desktop CC- your user (top right corner) - preferences - apps - 'show older apps'

I am looking for making a script that can automate video creation in Adobe Affter Effects using a template and in input file (excel). It should be able to change the text and the image in each scene by taking the respective text and image (image link form a website) from the excel file. Anyone who can help me will be great.
