Getting starter locs done by a loctitian (comb coil method) 

So beautiful, I just started my LOC journey 4 days ago and I'm so excited to see where this spiritual journey takes me. Thank you for sharing....

I’m a total bohemian myself! Go for it! I love to embrace the journey and love all the stages. To me, there’s no “ugly” stage…I started my second journey in 2011, after loosing my hair to cancer. Now they’re past bra length. I love mine small like yours. It’s easier to do different styles. My hair is so thin, so I definitely didn’t want sister locs, not even micro. I found that on my first journey I was told not to wash my hair for months. I didn’t listen and washed my hair in 4 weeks. It actually loced when the water hit my 4c hair. By the next 4 week wash they were already starting to bud. I love them on you!

It feels so good to come across a new journey like myself. I just had my starter locs installed 2 weeks ago. I spray them with rose water, aloe vera and oils every 3 days.

So interesting to see the actual locs being formed

The loc journey is about the holistic approach. Diet diet diet should be the only reason to have locs. That’s how you find your intolerances…not for the look because locs aren’t pretty period
