Being able to use some of your grandfather's tools is something to be proud of, some of my father's tools that I'm still using are 80+ years old. I remember them everytime I pull one out of the tool box. Used some of my dad's metric tool he bought in 1956 today.

Your daughter melts my heart. Such a cutie. Last part of the video made me laugh. My kids all do the same thing... I use a very large PVC pipe to hold my grease guns. Each one has different greases in them...bearings, waterproof and regular grease. Finished attending the local fairs and seeing the traqctor pulls, now it's time to smell the harvesting. Love the beginning of Fall Season!

Got to be better than the old riveted ones though from BMT (Before My Time) like on the ancient Claas Matador my dad used to run when he grew some crops as well as well as having animals and before my grandad built a straw stack around it before my dad drained the water out of it. Had to change them on my course nearly 15 years ago on an equally ancient JD combine. Moral of the story always stick coolant/antifreeze in the cooling system and get any leak fixed rather than just dumping water in it to save a few quid

We have a Milwaukee M12 grease gun. We went with the M12, because we already have some M12 tools thus we can use our current batteries. I greased our excavator the other day and what would've taken an hour with a hand pump was done in 15 minutes. We don;t have big machines like this, but our baler and wheel rake have plenty of grease zerks. Cordless grease guns are well worth the money if you have any sort of farm equipment. Getting the air purged out of the gun the first time was a pain, but the cylinder locks into the plunger so you can push the air through the bleeder valve. Once you get the air out it works like a champ!
