Join me today as I get my house back in order! Summer housekeeping presents challenges, and things got a little off track at Old Soul Home! In today's video, I share some of my struggles in homemaking, and how I encourage and motivate myself to stay at peace and have joy while doing what needs to be done. I'll also share tips I've learned along the way--both practically and mentally! We will discuss how balance is a myth! It's going to be fun, hopefully encouraging, and inspiring! Remember, we are all valuable and worthy every day:)

Your house looks so great. You have such a talent for thrifting all these different items and somehow getting them to match*. I can’t even match my utensils to my plates 😅 Looking forward to more vids!

What a beautiful home! I dont have a family yet but that is my job, I work for moms and keep their home clean and take care of their kids. I realize there is A LOT to do. People thinks its a hard job but honestly I love it and I think its beautiful to help a family feel relaxed and good, and more if its your own family! But as you say it is a job, people may label it as " not working" but its actually a job specially if the kida are little its A LOT!

New follower and I Love your contents and approach! Refreshing! I’m definitely an old soul and can relate! Yes- we too had smorgasbord meals growing up and I still do that for my family!❤ funny new tradition I started about 5 years ago~ on New Year’s Eve I cook up all the stuff in the freezer or whatever has been hanging around in there for a while and clean out the freezer for a fresh start. It’s definitely a smorgasbord meal. 😂 we might have a few pieces of shrimp, popsicles and French fries. lol
