Getting to Horseshoe Bay Beach Bermuda (2018)

Horseshoe Bay Beach is one of the top beaches in Bermuda. If your cruise ship docks in Bermuda, you owe it to yourself to at least go there to take a photo.

I found the easiest way to go there was to use a shuttle that was waiting outside of the pier. For $7 they will take you to Horseshoe Bay Beach. The ride is about 20-15 minutes and is very scenic. The best option is to sit in the front seat of grab a window seat because you'll want to take some photos.

I just discovered this vlog while searching for beaches in Bermuda (great video!). Could you tell me if it is a steep walking path to go down to the beach? I have feet and knee issues that might hinder me from walking down a steep path. Thank you!

From what I recall, and this was like five years ago. They dropped us off at curb and there was a path to the beach. It wasn't steep because they had beach wheelchairs there. @ Mr. Rubi We went Sept 24 to that beach, the price still the same. I sow the signs on the buses at the beach for $7 dollars. Beautiful and clean island.

I asked what time are these busses there till, they (drivers) said, not to worry - they watch till everyone's off the beaches before they leave. We took the 6:30pm back to navy dockyard. It was $7 pp

I'm not sure if the beach bar has lockers or not. Maybe consider getting a dry bag for your little items. The beach is safe and isn't sketchy. Chances are you'll see 100s of other cruisers there as well.

As soon as they load up the first one when the ships dock. Get there early.

We went the first week of June and the water was a little chilly. But it was still in the 80s.

They refused to rent us an umbrella. And there is no running water. This was 10 years ago.

@@CruiseRadio I don’t know what the deal was but it wasn’t the best weather, overcast and eventually a stinging rain came. Also the cab driver we called took over an hour to pick us up to bring us back to the ship and he was way less than friendly. Explained to us their disdain for cruise ships.

I have only been to Bermuda once and did Horseshoe Bay for half the day. The other half there is a pirate ship by the cruise ship that is a bar and has a blank where you can jump into the lagoon. Spent a couple hours doing that until all aboard. If you find any, let me know. Thanks for watching.
