If the United States were to confiscate ALL of the wealth from the 10 wealthiest people in America, we’d only have about 700 billion dollars. So where is the “extra trillion” she is talking about? And what if (I know people say it won’t happen, but...) the wealthiest people choose to live elsewhere. We’d suddenly have a system that NEEDS the super wealthy. We should incentive companies and the super wealthy to create (or contribute to) the things she wants. It would be better than this wealth tax imo. This practice is insulting to professionals, students, and Teacher Assistants who make half as much, work twice as hard, and refuse to "just wing it" and get a paycheck. If she truly advocated for SPED kids, she would have to at least have some education on how to do that, which is impossible to learn in one year with no college SPED classes

Warren's plan only provides total student debt forgiveness up to a salary cap. Bernie's total student debt forgiveness is unconditional, which would help lower healthcare costs because doctors could afford to charge lower prices since they would no longer need to pay back medical school loans.
