How come this autopilot is not included in the PC trainer suite for GTN? It would be really helpful if it was so practice could be done safely on the ground with the GPS, garmin pilot flight display and autopilot working together as one.
There are only a couple of airframes that are eligible for installation with the GFC 600 and G3X Touch for Certificated aircraft, like the C182 and A36, as an example. The short answer is that it could integrate but it is not as fully integrated as the GFC 500. The GFC 500 autopilot is the better choice for installation with G3X Touch for this reason. If you already have GFC 600 installed, then I would strongly consider adding TXi; the integration between the two is amazing. ^DK
