“...the car’s parked outside the kebab shop you’ve just come out of. But where do you go? Into the future or into the past?” Don’t know, never been in a shop
The Avengers question is extra fun, cause him being SO young and "oh, haven't watched Back to the Future or had coffee" is peak Peter Parker vibes, and then he really wants to be Ironman xD
This kid shld be the best climber in the world built like a climber and has the power of a spring classics rider.Only the hyper aggressive racing by Pog and Evenpoel but by rights he should be the best climber.
Delighted he doesn't drink coffee. The sheep in the sport that "need" of coffee before they turning a pedal is cringe. I know a good few guys who have taken up cycling and subsequently coffe weeks later. Don't get me started on "stopping at the caf" sitting around throwing shapes!!! Sad that's what I took from his interview. Class act.
Short-term performance is better with coffee, but only once or twice a year for special occasions. Long-term performance is better without it though. More people should do a detox and see
@@Bayo106 As I said above, it can help - if you really need a boost for a race once or twice a year, it will 100% give you an extra few %, but you have to pay the price and sleep/digestion/recovery will be affected for about a week after. Sometimes it's worth it.
Never had a coffee? Me neither. But I feel a lesser cyclist as result. I’m guessing Pidcock doesn’t have that feeling. Need to start so i can get a rocket machine.
Only time will tell. Bradley Wiggins talks a lot of rubbish about Sky/Ineos. He isn’t objective in his analysis. Pidcock will have opportunities at Ineos and will shine if he remains healthy. Tao never could have imagined in his wildest dreams he’d be leading and eventually winning a Grand Tour. But his development gave him all the tools to realise the dream. His temperament and confidence is testament to his being surrounded by quality riders and coaches.
Tom needs to loosen up! C'mon man talk a little. Live a little. What is the story behind NO coffee or tea? I'd like to hear why that is. Coffee literally is the lifeblood of cyclist worldwide. Just ask the Italians!
" come on man!!! " you just sound like creepy joe Biden 😬 He is living, he's a professional bike rider ffs!!! Seen tom race at British national cx last year he was amazing in the mud 🙌 🇬🇧
@@nickjohnson710 lol Biden “cmon man”. Just a very dull interview despite Stephen’s attempt to bring out something interesting. He no doubt is a talent and exciting racer
Great rider, shame he's signed for a team sponsored by gas guzzling manufacturer of Chelsea Tractors and single use plastics. Ok, this post will be taken down in seconds.
Let him win everything and then letting people learn who this 1-year racecheater is with motor. Lol. These new teamstrats... he couldn't even ride a bike a year ago. Fools that believe this sport, shame on you. Next year you won't hear of him again, like all other cheaters that win it all in 1 season and then do nothing at all.
