I've seen it done on RU-vid but it's very difficult to pull off and I can't quite get it. Though there's honestly not many situations where it helps more than a flying mount except in areas where you can't call one, which isn't the case in any of the impossible locations I've gotten to thus far
@@saurillian: there's actually a very easy method... well, assuming it hasn't been patched out yet. I actually helped figure out how to make it easier. There's a pair of Videos by Arktix from about 2 weeks ago that go into more detail on the different methods. The short version is, while playing in 30 fps mode, make sure to have weapon wheel slowdown set to slower or slowest, and then rebind your controller so that jump is any button other than X (making sure to also rebind any conflicts). Then while holding the weapon wheel open you can run against any wall, including invisible wall and just spam the jump button to keep going higher. Some of the things this glitch makes possible are pretty busted though and the expectation was it would get patched quickly. I've had my PlayStation in offline mode since then, so I'm unsure if that's happened yet.
@@EmeralBookwise I've seen their videos on this. Again, it's only particularly helpful in areas where you can't call a flying mount, and all the areas I'm showing off actually require one to get there to begin with
@@saurillian: Fair enough. It was just hard watching you try to maneuver that huge bird thing around such narrow spaces, so it felt polite to point out alternatives in case there are any other similarly claustrophobic environments on the tour schedule.
