I've always wanted to do this thing since 1993 but vocal isolation technology was so not accessible to me back then. I even tried to mix Domino's 12" instrumental with Mary J's acapella track on her 12" only to find that she was singing in a different key. So, thirty years later - here's my little experiment LOL.

Damn that works really well. Ghetto Jam's one of my favorites from my childhood and then once Blige's vocals kicked in I was like "Damn, that was smooth as fuck." Good work.

Thanks! I've wanted to do this since 1993 and I even bought the 12" of "Love No Limit" because it had an acapella track but she sang it in a different key (different performance, too) so I couldn't isolate the album track until I had the means to do it. Thirty years later LOL.
