An amazing and info packed video once again. The battle is complex, but you summarize it in a very understandable way. I am going to use this itinerary when I visit Gettysburg. Also, what a moving video, Thank you again!

Thank you,I always wanted to visit Gettysburg but old age has put a stop to that,my interest started with the red badge of courage in 1956 and then the centennial in 1961 but through you and the internet I can finally walk that hallowed ground.awesome, again thank you.

Nice video for a beginner, certainly some must sees. Just a couple of factually wrong pieces of information. The most glaring is the Soldiers National Monument is not where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address. The precise location is lost in time. But many experts have it narrowed down to an area on the other side of the iron fence of the monument, in the Evergreen Cemetery. Probably about 100-150 feet on the other side of the fence.

Hey Shane. Thanks for watching and for the input- I knew that Soldiers National Monument wasn't exactly at the site but should have clarified on the video for the best accuracy. Gettysburg is fascinating and so complex, and would be great to see the reenactment in July.

@Project Gaia Not a problem. I should clarify myself when I said for a beginner, I meant for people who have never been there. I wasn't trying to imply that you're a beginner. I've enjoyed your videos so far.

The single most bloodiest day was actually at Antietam Battlefield. But great video regardless. Did you notice you said that 3 days were ideal to see everything in Gettysburg? Ironic that the Gettysburg battle lasted for 3 days. However, I think you may need at least 4 days. Also, NO history should be removed from anywhere. You can't tell a battlefield story or any good vs evil story without both the good guys AND the bad guys being represented. These were people of their times. Besides, all of the different states represented on each monument paid money to have those monument placed - including Virginia. Now they belong to the park. The Confederate sharpshooter did not die where he was seen in that picture. He was actually placed there.

Hi Tami, thanks for watching! It is interesting that the 3 days coincides with the 3 days of the battle, and yes a more leisurely pace of 4 days is ideal- I just go out from morning till dusk so tend to see the sights a bit more aggressively. I agree history should not be removed. And thanks for the clarification on the sharpshooter. All the Best, JP
