Gevril Wall Street - Budget Rolex FOR REAL? 

I own the Gevril Wall Street Black Dial. I get so many compliments and it looks high quality. I own a Rolex also. THis Gevril is amazing. I took it to the jewelrt store to compare to other rolexes and high quality watches and this watch showujd be selling for more. Its thatnice and good

I bought this last month in solid green. It keeps perfect time and gets many compliments. I've had people assume it's a Rolex, which I'm quick to correct. I will say the logo isn't very pleasing but overall it's a great value.

Just picked up a Gevril Seacloud today. Love it, very solid and classy. Must be a pretty established company. They have been making watches since before the Civil War ! before watches watches watches

I own a few Gevril's ( Potente moon phase and the Lenox). Haven't had an issue with either one with the great time-keeping and just the overall feel of the watches compared against other homages.

No comment on the +18 per day on the time grapher? I did see that the inaccuracy of the timekeeping was properly accounted for in the 12/20 score.

I stumbled across the Gevril West Village with the teal dial. Really nice watch but I did have trouble with the SW-200-1 movement 4 months after purchase, since I failed to register the watch because I bought it at Ashford and had no warranty luck. I was out of pocket for a new Sellita $175. Even with that issue I picked up another Gevril, the Yorkville. Really good watches, but best to wait until they go on sale. The $500 is a good target price. My Yorkville was $379, so can't complain. Good to see a Gevril review, thanks!

I was torn between 3 watches . The Hamilton Broadway Swiss, The Glycine Airman SST , and this Gevril Wall Street. I chose the wall street. Looks very nice. Not sure i made the right decision value wise but can't wait for it to arrive :-)

Just ordered a Wall Street and a Canal Street (bullhead panda). Quality and price unbeatable.

I have a Gevril Yorkville in stainless with blue bezel and dial and is a Tudor Pelagos homage and for the 780$ I paid for it by far one of best watches granted I only own 4 Armand Nicolet JH09, Oceaneva Wave racer, Tissot prx Powermatic 80, and the Gevril but these watches aside from their massive MSRP's for under 1000$ highly highly recommended

i have an extensive watch collection. do not pay over 600 for it , cause you will find it at that price. but Gevril is making extremely high quality watches. I bought a wall street when I first got into watches. dont pretend its a rolex, but understand this is a high quality brand

I have this in the batman and I really enjoy it. No way I would pay 20k for a rolex batman stainless steel watch. Great watch for regular people.

This watch is owned by my friend I have the rolex version I think the Gevril might be a bit BETTER to be honest. If you can't buy the Rolie is the ONLY choice. I have a Gevril Sea Cloud which has been taking a beating for 5 years as my water watch. It has not missed a beat it came in a gorgeous polished wooded box. Keep in mind the GEVRIL TRIBECA is one of the most collectible watches among horology heads , I had a chance at one that was on Bernard watch for years at around $800 now they are THOUSANDS if you find one. I think Gevril are at LEAST as good as Rolex , better than Tudor and since the decline of Omega swatches far better than Omega .Gevril quality speaks for itself and soon will be considered a luxury brand

My first Swiss watch was a quartz Gevril S0111 -- when I was a completely ignorant teenager in the early 2000s. In general, they're essentially a different version of Invicta that claims to be "Swiss." In reality, Gevril is just a recently-formed company that bought the rights to the name of a dead brand killed off by the quartz crisis so that they could claim to be older than they actually are. Their watches are fine, but don't expect them to hold their value at all. They use the same sales model as Invicta also -- high MSRPs with low sales prices. The biggest difference is that their watches tend to be homages.

heard the case is the same as Steinhart , what is your take on that ? I hated straight lugs

The guys who tell “stories” about San-Martin Sub had definitely no experience with Gevril. To be honest from the point of finishing and quality for price its definitely better than Tudor. And maybe better than overhyped Rolex in some cases.

Here’s my experience with the Gevril Wall Street GMT watches. The watch is amazingly beautiful but not mechanically accurate I give it a thumbs down. I have ordered three of them and returned two of them for refund for these reasons, first was ordered at Amazon. The reason was the hour hand is not pointing exactly to the right time. Here’s an example at 6:00 o’clock the hour hand is pointing a line before the number 6. This happens on every hour time. Like when you manually set the watch to 12:00 o’clock all hands should be pointing to 12 but not the hour hand. I even took pictures of them. I sent an email to Gevril about the issue but I didn’t get a reply from them. I got a refund from Amazon. The second watch I got it from a well known online watch and jewelry store. The watch stopped after wearing it every day since I got it on 10/10/2022. It happened 3x in the period of 2 weeks. Took pictures and sent it to the vendor. Got my refund. Here’a the third one. Ordered again the Gevril black and red GMT. I really like the watch that’s why I keep on ordering it. Got it the first week of this month NOV. I wear and set the time according to GMT.com. A couple days after I compared the time again with GMT.com. The second hand was 2 clicks ahead compared to the time in greenwichmeantime.com time. This morning I have the same problem on my 2nd watch. It also stop at 8:10 this morning. I love the physical feature of the watch but I can’t stand the issues that I’m having problems with it. I have a RADO DiaStar for 48 years to date I never have this kind of problems and it still keeps on ticking. I hope GEVRIL quality control does an excellent job in testing this GMT watches before they put in the market.
