In LE mode you need to press the ‘-‘ button to start the program. If it is not working you need to check 1. Check connections for the display switch , 1 - 44 is connected with jumper cable. 2. If first step is ok then check the connection for the motor encoder. 3. If both steps not working then you try to clear the existing program and reprogram.

Its very rare that the components getting breakdown in the DCU. We often request the customers to replace with the new one as they can get a 1 year warranty on the new board. Once you have repaired the board it cannot be under warranty. The board may work or may not work as the components used has to be matched according to their specs and standards. So from my point of view its better to replace with the new board .
