Tremolo and delay go together so beautifully! I remember thinking that the tremolo would make the delay a mushy rhythmic mess, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Let the tremolo take the lead and it’s hard to get a bad sound. Tremolo is so simple and perfect, so evocative.
I’ve done both before and after, seems to work both ways. Jay used delay into tremolo, probably a bit easier that way especially if you follow the rhythm of the tremolo. Have fun!
The awesome thing is when you have the Tremolo embedded IN the reverb, like here on the Skylar. Then you can play away, have a great tremolo playing along, yet there are no chances to mess the whole sound up because it's not on the transients, but only on the reverb trail. Such a great idea!
Great sounding pedals, fantastic playing, as usual. I just got both an Ethereal and an Astral Destiny, and love 'em, but these do some things they and other reverbs and delays I have can't. I'm becoming seriously addicted to reverb, especially the weirder ones.
