Very cool! I purchased this a long time ago and I use it often but never could figure out the aggro snare sample. I can't get them to work. When I solo out the Aggro snare sample fader, it makes no sound. I even tried copy and pasting my midi info to the track and still get nothing. I am on reaper. Any tips would be appreciated!
Hey Vincent! Thank you for using this Mix-Ready template! Do you see any signal running through the aggro snare track (the volume meter moving)? If not, did you copy the drum midi down to the One Shot track, so it can trigger off of the midi? I‘m not at my PC at the moment but I‘ll look into this further if you want. Drop me an e-mail to georg@mix-ready.com
@@MixReady thank you very much for writing back! I just figured out what was going on. I didn’t have the samples loaded on the plug-ins 🤦♂️ Silly mistake lol but I really appreciate you taking the time to comment back 🤟🏻
Just bought this for Logic while on break at work. Gonna check it out when I get home tonight! I’m assuming that there are just separate plugins that I just need to rout the parallel, kick, snare, etc. to?
Hey Anthony! Thank you for buying the template! The routing is already done for you! :) just make sure that your Kontakt 6 (or free Kontakt 6 Player) is updated!
@@MixReady just got home to check it out and it’s incredible! If you don’t mind me asking, what did you use to record guitars? I currently use Neural DSP and this sounds like their Nameless Suite
@@Tonybob_Skinnyjeans I'm glad you like it! The guitars and bass were recorded by João Medeiros. I just looked up the mix-tutorial on his Patreon and it seems that he was testing a new amp sim back then. In that video he says he can't reveal it now, but I think it was STL ToneHub! I don't know the preset unfortunately :(
Hi Zarif! Unfortunately Cubase 5 does not include the stock plugins that I used for this template. I‘m afraid some of the compressors and limiters would be missing. Also I am not sure how Cubase 5 handled the Virtual Instruments (Kontakt). I can not guarantee that the routing will be correct. :/
Hi Alex! I think maybe it does already work with Cubase 7! Please check the pictures in the product page on my website. You can see the stock plugins that I used there. As long as you have the Studio EQ, Compressor, Vintage Compressor, Tube Compressor and Maximizer it should sound pretty much the same! The routing will probably work even if you don't have those plugins in cubase 7 :)
Hey there! I just added the Studio One version! It includes the One Shot snare samples (just like every other version) and I added it via the built in sampler!
@@MixReady Hey there, just got the template for studio one downloaded and fooled around with it. I am having two issues. The first one is there is something in your template settings that is allowing the dry signal of a source to playback with the FX signal. I for the life of me can't figure it out. The 2nd one is, would it be possible to get the template in 48khz. For some reason Studio One doesn't allow sample changes after a template/session is setup. Overall the drums sound great though. Question regarding GGD, what is the first channel? On the mixer I can only output kick, snare, toms,oh,mono and room. What is the first channel?
@@matthewmessner1105 Hey Matthew! Do you mean when you add a track for recording and add an amp sim to that track, you can hear the amp sim and the dry DI signal in parallel? Regarding the second issue: I just checked the template and had no issues switching to 48 kHz. I assume it's your audio interface which is preventing you from switching. I can send you the 48 kHz version via e-mail though! It's georg@mix-ready.com :)
Hey Georg phenomenal job with OKW! I just bought this and have a question since I use reaper. Would it be better for the settings in OKW be set to multi out adv or stereo? I noticed Nolly and Misha from GGD like to use multi out adv but given your preset I'd thought I'd ask you first. Thanks!
Hi there! Thank you for buying the template! It doesn‘t make a difference because I‘ve routed all the kit pieces and outputs manually. If you select multi output now, it will overwrite the routing that I set up. So no need to change anything :) Multi Output makes for a quicker start when loading up OKW for the first time. I hope that makes sense haha!
