This is unbelievable - I've bought almost every template you've put out, but I've literally been using this erra song as a reference for ever. And I agree with the other comments, this actually sounds better than the original! I'm grabbing this the millisecond the ableton version is available 😀
Dude this is sick!! from the looks of what you showed, the only drum processing are those few verb tracks and dist/comp, nothing on individual drums? MDL sounds so good out of the box!
@@thefuse03101 Hey man thank you, I‘m glad you like it! :) Oh yes there is individual processing in the Kontakt mixer and also in the DAW on the snare, cymbals, overheads and room track. Some EQ and compression mostly. You‘re right though - MDL sounds amazing out of the box too!
This sounds awesome! Unfortunately, I don't have all of those mixing plugins like Slate, FabFilter, DF-Comp, etc. I would love versions that use only stock mixing plugins for these DAWs, especially for Reaper. ❤
@@nathanlempar4283 Hey Nathan! The template is using the Neural DSP: Nolly X plugin for the guitar tones. I‘ve included custom IRs (Impulse Respones) that you need to load into the Nolly X plugin. You can send an e-mail to georg@mix-ready.com if you need some help with this!
@@xdocfearx7329 I recommend it dude! The Ultimate Heavy Drums are sick and Josh, the guy behind it, seems to be a very honest and humble person (I don‘t know him personally) I want to add more templates with those drums in the future 🤘🏼
hit up Trevor Teichert, i know he would be down to give you some tracks. especially since i want you to do a lorna shore mix template cause that would go hard. 😶
@@str1897 Wow thank you! The Drift album is 8 years old though and maybe now our preferences in sound have changed a bit (or what we are used to hearing.. which is probably a lot of Neural DSP and STL amp sims nowadays haha)
@@MixReadyyou are right ! I live this album a lot, but back in 2016, I felt it was a bit too narrow and compressed, even though the drums were great ! I feel that you retained the drum sound and expanded the whole mix so it sounds like a high quality version of it ahah
@@BradyA1124 Hey Brady! Thanks for your comment. I assure you that I have a lot of customers that are using my template in Logic perfectly fine. Whenever there is an issue, you can send a mail to georg@mix-ready.com and we’ll sort it out! What template are you struggling to open in Logic?
I’m thinking about buying it, cause I can only do my demos with headphones and mixing is becoming a pain in the ass. My only concern is, what’s going to happen if I don’t use all the tracks in the template? I assume there will be some adjustments on the overall master?
@@marcosandron6081 Hey Marco, thanks for checking out the „Krimh“ template! That‘s no problem at all! The master bus processing will still work if you‘re not using all of the tracks. I assume you want to use the drums, bass and rhythm guitars at least?
@@MixReady generally speaking, I track the bass, 2 or 4 guitar rhythm tracks, octaves and two clean/crunch and the drums of course 🤣 but never used synths.
@@marcosandron6081 alright, no worries! You don‘t need to use the synth tracks at all :) the mix will be exactly the same and it doesn‘t mess with the mix bus processing.
Will you make a Cakewalk By Bandlab (or Cakewalk Sonar) versions in the future ? 🙏 Because i need that version, especially because there is blast beats parts 🥁 and we use blasts beats in my band :) Big respect for all your work ! 🔥
@@paty69813 hey there! I assume you mean GGD or SD3. 😄 it depends on your style of music! GGD for any modern production and SD3 for ultra-realistic, organic sounds. I prefer GGD for my own music (Metalcore, Djent, Pop Punk, Modern Rock)
Hello, if I buy this template, I can make my song based on this instrumental or this song is someone's cover. or is protected by copyright. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MeV4fP0Wy4o.html
Hey, I bught it, it sounds amazing. I have a question, though. When just using the kit and trying to replicate your master bus processing, did you reduce the input gain in the master bus somehow? Maybe I am doing something wrong, but the drums seem a bit too loud.
@@MarvTube87 hey, thanks for grabbing the Spiritbox SD3 preset! I don‘t remember exactly but sometimes I will reduce the input gain on the master bus so I have more headroom for the plugins. You can also reduce the output volume of SD3 for the same effect!
@@MixReady will try that thx. The drums sound a bit loud compared to the Holy Roller original track, if you mix in the other instruments and run it through master processing. The bass drum especially seems to have a lot of low end. Will have to mess around with it. Still, easily the best SD preset I ever tried.
Hey! When you load up the preset file in SD3, it will ask you to locate the one shot sample. The one shot sample is inside the package that you get when buying this preset :)
