Snoop has always been the best real freestyler I've ever heard, since I heard him go for like 10 minutes on Hot 97 back in the day, and you could tell he was actually making it all up on the spot. It may not be the most clever stuff out there, but it's real, and it's all with perfect flow.

Kurupt and Canibus are my top 2 fav rappers all time. Kurupt's battle with alcoholism is what kept him from sustaining his career. In this video you can tell he's drunk, highlighted by his freestyles, his tempo and inflection are a giveaways...and he also said "rise your glass", instead of "raise". Snoop eventually had to step back from Kurupt, because he wudnt stop drinking. It's crazy how an addiction can change the whole trajectory of one's life. I'm still rooting for you Kuruption.

I've always loved Kurupt's style, it's hard to say he's the most lyrical out of DPG because Daz is sick too and Snoop can rip a track if that's what he sets out to do. Most of the time Snoop just raps TO you, among a lot of rappers especially at the time who were more rapping AT you.

Off the top of the head rap is the best. I remember being a shorty watching either "yo Mtv raps" or "rap city" (one of them).. And at the end when the credits were rolling, snoop was rapping. And you can tell the difference between off the top of the Dome rap and written when you hear it. It was off the dome. Point is, Snoop was the 1st rapper I heard to spit off the dome and to make it sound so effortless..waaaay before Jay-z and Wayne.. shout to those brothaz too.
