Simon did say that he was “Not in the Race”, and I LOVE that Kirsten will WIN the GGR and DOES have 23 hours in the bank! But..I think… Simon made up 10/15 DAYS?
I have to say that brought tears of pride back to me. We have such a poor raciest/ Greedy disgusting government I have not felt proud to be English for some time. But Simon, what a Sailor, what a gent! Congratulations. Amazing!!
Spectacular! Congratulations, Simon. What’s with the sound today?! The day you’ve been sailing for and waiting for since September 4th. Much respect from me and the whole world.
Simon has sailed such an amazing race, in or out of the GGR he is a star and also a very humble and respectful man. Bravo to him. Lovey to see JLVH there. Would have loved to see him going up the canal. He will enjoy seeing Kirsten come in later. Andy UK

She has 35 hours in the bank. And Abhilish has 12 hours. So Simon is NOT the first across. His time in the Chichester class will still be about 30 hours more than Kirsten's total for the GGR.
How come Simon couldn’t set up sheets to tiller. If I remember at the time he tried it out but heavy weather wouldn’t steer to well. Am I right in thinking this was the case.
