If I tag socials, then this should be done for ALL players (without a single exception), and not just for one person. Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.

You don’t rlly wanna give up your rushdown pressure against a potemkin, especially when you have corner control, and especially when that meter is the only thing dissuading the Potemkin from PB-ing into the earth’s core.

Player prob prefers 24/7 corner pressure over meter. You can see that a lot of his mid-screen block strings are not working out too well, even when he has meter. I wonder what can chipp do with 2 meters after a wall break. I'm not sure myself. Any special moves he attempts can get countered by 5p/2p. Going for a grab is extremely risky. I personally like to alpha blade during my j2k because no one else does that. Lol

it's mostly in chipp's favour. chipp can make losing 1 interaction into losing a billion interactions while pot still needs to win 2 of them and another extra if they have burst.

Chipp is my favorite but man you have to put in the work. For any match a Chipp is inputting ~5X the commands of anyone else just to sloooooowly melt their health. That's ok though. I enjoy GG because of the huge differences in the way characters play. Soul Caliber (RIP😢) was that way too. We're stuck with SF and it's knockoffs for now, sadly.

I thought it was joked about as a "10-10" matchup Sure, Pot can KO Chipp in two solid guesses, but Chipp applies so much pressure, can build up a lot of RISC to cash out on the eventual hit, and has a DP. (but you might not want to DP on a potential buster oki)

It really is one-sided once you play patient as Chipp; Pot having little to no defensive options is really bad for a mu like this where strong defense is important. Sure, Pot can get some hits but Chipp could also just not interact once he’s got a lead

At top level it’s kind of hard to find a correct opening to use it. Unless it’s to use it on wake up for the invul frames into forward rc pot bust. But using it as a finisher for a combo usually isn’t as good as just doing a longer pot combo involving a giganter.

@@ToraExtremo At top level it’s very rare that the other opponent would give the pot a chance to use it effectively. Like you said as well you just watched a video of the #1 ranked pot going against only the #5 chip player and he didn’t give him a chance to use it. What do you think the #1 chip player would do? A non existent possibility just became an even greater 0% more possibility.

While I agree it isn't seen enough, I think that the point is that its existence forces top-level opponents to do things that are overall advantageous to Pot (i.e. minimize their air game).

This set feels like he was practicing new tech vs a live opponent because there were a lot of odd choices, like no Banki Messai wallbreak at 4:14 despite have full meter. It's not like you're giving up pressure since it causes HKD and you can do pretty much whatever you want afterwards.

There is a bit of counterplay. JD is the easiest option of beating his command grab. But since he jumps when doing the command grab there are a good couple of funnier yet harder to oil off options you can abuse as Pot since Chipp becomes airborne for a few seconds before the grab activates. These options being jump grab or even heavenly.
