@@saxtonnova the drift overhead for sure. The threat of that technique existing makes Ky pretty scary when he has meter, in a situation where he’d otherwise be fine to deal with

I think it was a throw bait more than a burst bait. Happens to me on occasion just because im really grab happy and so when I come across someone who knows to do it, I fall into the trap almost every time

Mocchi IBFD'd it, IBing Dire Eclat is one of the best counterplay measures against Ky in general since his blockstrings railroad him into ending with it

@@MrSkibidi10Close, but not quite. IB’ing makes attacks have no pushback, and IBFD’ing makes attacks have extra pushback. Mocchi IB’d Dire Eclat, not IBFD’d.

I think it just means they have high placement but not quite in the top 5, in terms of elo placement. The player could have been #1 in Ranked at one point and started playing less, thus just being labeled “Top Ranked” my guess

Ky inputs up up into a Roman cancel, causing a dash RC. This can be done with a back dash or forward dash as well, he then immediately inputs j.s afterwords, causing a fast blue Roman cancel, since j.s for ky is an overhead, and sol is crouching, it hits. It's a pseudo 50 Meter Instant overhead

@@guywithaguitar8521 i thought this was the backdash brc thing. input 66 > backdash > fbrc j.s. doing 99 brc would make j.s whiff because of upwards momentum iirc
