Now that wallslump meta is back, can someone explain to me why good players don’t hold forward to get launched off the wall back to midscreen? It seems like an easy way to escape wallslump pressure to me. I didn’t play back when wallslumps were an important thing before.
because hc will have focus buff after a wallslump and you dont want go deal with buffed hc zoning Edit: nvm, this applies to wallstick, not wallslump which doesnt allow you to jump out
There are two different types of wallstick. If you stick to the wall without getting launched, you are forced to slump down (w no invul btw). That’s called the wallslump. Chaos has long combos that don’t launch, so he’s one of the few characters that can consistently abuse it.
He has a faster dash so now he can dash up to you and throw you and you can't react, also he is overall more consistent. Also his 5h and 214k got range buffs so he can deal with zoners better, as zoners were usually difficult to deal with as they were just out of his range. Tldr johnny good 👍
