Well, they're letting her think. Critically though! I am not sure. She still has yet to really acknowledged the gravity of what Spencer is telling her about Esme.

Spencer dragging Dante 😂. That’s the guy I missed most of the year. Petty king lol. Loved Dom in these scenes as well. He should be leading his age group on this show (30s-40s), but instead they push Michael. Laura waking up to Esme, but the damage has been done for me and it’ll take some time to straighten that out. I can’t stand a fool, especially a blind one. Laura was out here all year doing her best Superman impression for Esme, like she was some victim. So, I still need for her to have egg all over her face.
00:57 I'm glad Spencer humbled Dante. He's always been way too sanctimonious toward others'. And why does this show act like Dante/Nikolas are indifferent? Nikolas and Lulu were always close knit. They're uncles to one another's children. It's just bizarre.
When Nikolas first came to PC, baby Lulu had his heart. They were the cutest scenes, and people completely fell in love with Nikolas(who was just like Spencer). I'm not really sure what Dante's problem with Nikolas has been over the years, other than he knows Sonny has never really cared for him. Lulu adored her brothers.
I think people and GH writers also be forgetting how much people are related. Aside from Lulu, Dante and Spencer are blood cousins! Sonny and Spencer’s mom were siblings and Sonny has always been in the background looking after Spencer due to that fact alone.
And Laura shut up because if Dante would have actually arrested Spencer it would have been on her since she was just so desperate to call him. She would have got him caught up in the same way she got Esme by making her talk to the police.
Not going to lie I had completely forgotten that Dante was not just Spencer's uncle via Lulu. Courtney completely slipped my mind. That kind of makes Spencer calling Dante out about Sonny, a two-sided coin because we know how much Spencer respects his uncle and has depended on him with the Nikolas drama.

I can't stand how this show has trashed Nikolas since FV took over. Hopefully these new writers' will fix this mess because this whole "Nikolas is evil" stance to prop other characters has been BS.
I absolutely agree. I like to add to that the fact that these writers repeatedly tried to do the same to Sprina by using Spencer as a babysitter for Ace who is always at home with Esme, while they sidelined Trina completely for the purpose of propping up Esme as a possible pairing with Spencer and Ace as a twisted family, while they phased out Sprina. The writers tried so many different ways to phase out Sprina by propping up Esme. These writers are not to be trusted because they still can't let go of Esme or that idea, and justice for Trina has completely been swept under the carpet.
Laura doesn’t find it strange that Esme isn’t returning her calls and is just deciding that she might be desperate? The woman went to Cyrus first. I will say this, I do get Spencer feeling the need to protect Ace and giving him to Nic, but did he think it through? Given what Esme is capable of, her having Ace might have kept her in control, given that she is on probation. Without Ace, there’s nothing to keep Esme from going off the rails and lashing out. On another note, has anyone told Trina and Joss that Esme has her memories back and may be on a tirade?
He is going be heartbroken if she(or Ryan) hurts Trina or even his father. I have to think they are her top 2 targets. This Cassadine stuff makes me miss the days of Helena. She would've had Esme's head.
Spencer loves his grandmother, and I got the feeling she is wondering why Esme will not return her calls. Dante asked why Esme didn't report her child missing.

Based on Esme telling Heather that she was justified in drugging Trina and setting her up as the perpetrator of the revenge porn against Joss and Cam, she was going to go off the rails anyway. The only difference here is whether she does so by hiding behind her amnesia while playing mommy dearest. or, her doing so while she pretends to have amnesia and using Ace's absence as an excuse for bad behavior. He loves his uncle Sonny, but he isn't naiive about his "career"and his crimes. He just wants Dante to understand that he loves Nikolas despite his choices just like Dante loves Sonny despite his choices. Dante knows deep down he would protect Sonny if needed.

Heat of the moment. Dante is so focused on arresting Nikolas that he is missing the big picture. Spencer was just making a point that Sonny is also a complicated man, just like Nikolas. What do you think Sonny does...host tea parties? It's possible to love someone, but hate their actions/choices in life, which was exactly the point Spencer was making to Dante.

Since Esme’s pregnancy she was imprisoned against her will, was harassed by Spencer even though she had amnesia and had her child kidnapped. If she does retaliate against Spencer and Nikolas it can be argued that they provoked her.
Looking back, I wish Laura hadn’t protested against Dante arresting Spencer and I wish Dante hadn’t let Spencer’s smart-mouthing gaslight him into letting him go scot-free. The things that Esme did were unconscionable and sickening, but regardless, memory or no memory, it will never justify Spencer giving Ace away and threatening Esme if she reported the kidnapping to the police. Spencer should’ve been arrested right on the spot ‘cause it not only would’ve served him right for his cruel Cassadine-like actions, but it would’ve protected him too from Esme. Spencer disappointed me greatly. He disgusted me as well. Trina deserves a better man than the spoiled-rotten, selfish, delusional, paranoid, vindictive, ruthless Spencer Cassadine.
Funny, he didn't say, "Uncle Sonny". I always loved the way he reverted back to being the kid with his stuck up arrogance. Laura is finally taking her grandson seriously about Esme 😅. She remembers her own instincts being right and acknowledged that in Spencer. No musical commentary today, just "namaste" meaning, "I see and respect the light in you as you do in me".
It wouldn't have made sense to say Uncle Sonny given the context. Saying "your father" or "old man" packs a punch because Spencer was referring to the old tale of complicated father/son relationships.
I've it with Spencer. He should be arrested, and Nicholas and be humbled bc the laws apply to everyone including them. I know everyone is supporting the Cassindines but honestly in Real Life ( yes I know Gh is not real but it pretends it is) Esme has custody of Ace and Nicholas a wanted man does not and the crime of kidnapping is still Kidnapping by a parent is still a crime. Period! This maybe where GH loses me bc dispite what Esme did and regaining her memories she doesn't deserve her Son being taken away from her.

This is the one thing I hate about Spencer, he wants to act like he’s this perfect civilized man who’s done nothing wrong but he has skeletons in his closet too and he will do whatever it takes to get other people that he dislikes tossed in jail when they do bad things. He’s such a hypocrite.
Some new writers with talent should be hired ! The writers could write away this tangled boring saga into better interesting stories ! He can be annoying sometimes, BUT in this case he is on the money. Esme is a sociopath, and judging by her scenes with Heather, she is still the same whack job. He knows her better than anyone. He has every right to be deeply concerned for the people he loves.
Legally they’re both in trouble. Liz brokered a deal but like Alexis said, that can be easily thrown out since Liz was having a lot of issues mentally. Esme would have to admit she remembers being held captive and file charges but then in return she can have her old charges reinstated. She is serving six months probation, she can be charged with drugging Trina with the intent of framing her for the revenge porn she created, drugging Oz and him being in a coma. Spencer can also testify that she was the one that started the fire of Ava’s car and assisted in torturing Ava. Esme can be hit with the three strikes your out law and be imprisoned up to life in prison.
