The preformances by all 3 actors were exceptional. Avery P is a master villain. NAC and Tabyana where great in coming to each others rescue. High energy emotional performances. Great intensity.

Listen I love Trina too and she isn't a lightweight. However, she is tiny and Esme has height and more body weight than her. Plus she's loony tunes. So she could have easily overpowered Trina. However, since nothing in the room was messed up, she probably told Trina that she had subdued Spencer and had him somewhere and she would kill him. Just like she told Spencer.
By doing exactly what she did to Spencer. She told her Spencer was in danger and forced her voluntarily allowed herself to be tied up. There's no way Esme can overpower Trina enough to tie her up. She would need to have knocked her unconscious to do so. But if she told her Spencer will die if she doesn't comply then she would comply.
I tuned in 15 min late today after reading the episode plot and was in shock to see esme all crazy. I skipped many episodes as I am sick of esme. So to see this live today was abrupt. I hope this is the last of her. I wish they changed the paternity to some random guy and erase this storyline. Hoping the new head writers do Sprina justice and still like the pairing.
I am gonna do my due diligence and watch this episode once, like I did the stupid bar fight and call it a day. Why? Because I am loyal to Sprina but these writers got us bent thinking we’re gonna put up with atrocious plot writing.

That throat scene was like Micheal Douglas & Glenn Close movie when he was choking her because she wanted to kill his wife ! He had an affair with Glenn & Micheal was trying to ditch but Glenn wasn't having it ! Now there was tension between Spencer & Esme with his hands around her throat , he's such a good actor it could have played either way ! He loves Trina it wasn't gonna play him kissing Looney Tune ! The writers just messed up 2 years of horrible episodes of the Esme Saga ! Tobe honest the did good with what they was given # Sprina !!! That's why Dan & Chris was fired ! Still they left some screwed up writing that's still being used !
See this why I cant buy Esme as a villian I just cant. She is psycho not a villian. There is a difference. In crucial ways she is NOT her fathers daughter. She is too impulsive and stupid. How the hell does she think this is going to work out for her. She doesnt know how to play the long game. If the writers were smart her amnesia would have been a fake from the beginning. But they gave real amnesia very dumb. The problem with the character she can do psycho really good but she cannot do femme fatale. That quality that Ava has that Carly has is missing. I knew the confrontation would be bonkers between Spencer and Esme but I didn't expect the intimacy. And it's so sexually charged too. Spencer has pinned her against the wall ..his hands on her throat, their faces so close, lips nearly touching. All that passion, anger, intensity. I thought for a second he'd kiss her. Then later when she's in power she demands that he turn around "and give me your hands." She orders him and binds him...like a dominatrix would. The chemistry between them is palpable. Very interesting blocking..
If you found that to be sexually charged then that was the only time between them. Spencer and Esme have never had sexually charged scenes since she came on the show revealed as his girlfriend. Even when she introduced herself at Wyndemere the night of the party and came right up and kissed Spencer, the camera pulled away from them to focus on Trina's WTF expression. And Spencer immediately pulled away and looked like a deer in headlights looking at Trina. For the guy to pull away from his actual GF and stare at the other girl - Trina- in that equation, that speaks volumes. Also notice Spencer and Esme never had a "love scene". We've seen her in bed in his room once? And she tried to have sex with him when he was trying to prove Trina's innocence. So yeah. I don't see it and have never seen anything romantically charged between the two of them.
As much as i hate Esme, Spencer took her child. I can't even blame her, a mothers rage is unfathomable. Who is he to make a decision , he's not a father. especially when his father has committed so many atrocities in his name. I love Spencer and I love Trina but he fucking overstepped he would not have been dealing with any of this if he had just stayed in his damn lane as Trina's boyfriend.

Yet Ava never stalked them and their innocent partners to another country to kill them. -Kiki and Michael took custody of Avery right after this because of Ava's criminal past.
