I love that Trina's voice wasn't muted, and she wasn't written in these scenes as weak or willing to back down. She told the truth, stood her ground and then made it her business to not beg or plead for this man after he came out of his mouth crazy.

Sometimes when we’re up set , we can take it out on others unintentionally, in this case I think that’s what he did but, he definitely needs to apologize to her, the writers need to apologize for only showing Sprina once this week, yet Anna everyday! I appreciate the brake from Carly today too, please have Dex and Joss mind their business although I think something is up with Dex speaking up on Spencer’s behalf, maybe they’ll actually be friends or something, it doesn’t seem like he has friends, He probably misses Cam too.

One good thing about Spencer has always been the way he speaks to Trina , because his voice always takes on a gentle tone, but today he was yelling at Trina like he was having a conversation with Nicholas. Verbal abuse is never acceptable.. Trina was right for walking out today 👍. Spencer owed Trina apology, because she was right. Spencer is the brother of Ace not his father. I noticed that too. Spencer always used to get loud-mouthed with Laura, Victor, Esme, Nicholas and whoever else got in his way but today was the first time he let loose on Trina. And I’m glad she’s seeing it for what it is. Imagine losing your man to a woman who framed you for revenge p#rn and drugged you. You finally give him a chance after being heavily pursued for over a year and the whole time he constantly throws it in your face that Ace (and by extension Esme) will ALWAYS be top priority. Most soap opera couples who are super couples break up and get back together eventually. Spencer will hit rock bottom and find out that Ace isn't a Cassadine and then realize that he's been played again by Esme. I do think that Spencer will eventually want Trina back and have to work harder than he did before to get her back, but he will eventually.

This writing is WHACK. I'm disappointed in Spencer's behavior today and the writing is on the wall. Spencer is headed for a humpty dumpty fall. I'm now truly convinced that Ace isn't a Cassadine after today. He threatened to chose Ace over Trina and she walked right out and made the decision for him. When the truth comes out all the people that propped up Esme will feel stupid including Spencer. Trina he can't just apologize his way out of this. Spencer needs therapy to deal with his various trauma.
He's also dealing with CPTSD which is why you saw what we all saw today. Which is also why Dex stepped in the way he did. It's also why he hid what really went down at the gym months ago. I also think this has to do with what happened in Greenland. Go back and watch the conversation with Curtis and Laura on the way back. She talked about how the trauma of what happened to Trina and Spencer will pop up at some point, and some of us spoke about it, and I think we're seeing it.

I do believe this is progress. Spencer is about to experience a major shift that’s going to force him to finally face his demons. Sadly his relationship with Trina is suffering right now and she is getting hurt in the process but if this future confrontation leads to Spencer healing and becoming whole within himself then that’s also good for Trina. She deserves him at his best and right now he is not stable enough to give her that. She has done all she could do and has shown him what’s possible. It’s up to him to overcome the rest. This was all inevitable. I’m looking forward to a happier and healthier Sprina but this needs to happen for that to come to fruition.
I like the statement "At his best", it was a song called: "At your best" by the Isley Brothers and remade by Aaliyah. Great lyrics and that would apply to Spencer, he does need healing. Spencer has always been impulsive. He just reacts without thinking things through. He lashes out a lot. I've just never seen him this way with Trina. I didnt like it at all and I am glad she walked away, because he deserved it after the way he spoke to her. That said, i dont think this is the end for them. This is just a hurdle. I agree! This will force Spencer to realize just how much he needs/wants Trina. They are definitely a super couple but even the best of the super couples have their major hurdles. He needs to apologize to Trina for how he was talking/yelling at her. Besides the obvious therapy that he needs, he also has WAY too much time on his hands!!! He needs a job or something because he does not handle difficult situations well. If he had a job or at least volunteer, he may be able to view life situations differently instead of just reacting impulsively all the time.

Where is the DNA Test? Where is Nicholas and when is he gonna show up? Or is this how the writer's wanted to do this storyline in the first place? The Wam Bam Thank You Ma'am Storylines of Interracial Couples? What is this? Spencer and Trina were so happy. If Joss and Dex can be happy, going at it like sex crazed animals then why can't an Interracial Couple have that same right? As a matter of fact, Spencer & Trina's love scenes compared to everybody else was totally choreographed quite different. Did anybody else notice or was it just me? GH is even going down that rabbit hole of Kristina and Blaze as a situation. There is something not right with Blaze though. Can't put my finger on it, yet. I just pray that "Linc", is not still pulling strings from in behind Scenes. I'm tired of these types of storylines and with as much as Esme Prince has done, her ass should have been in prison. I’m hoping this time around in 2023 that is not the case. And yes Sprina’s love scenes were choreographed with the help of an intimacy coordinator. I’d argue that Sprina is considered a supercouple and they are endgame so maybe that’s why they got an extra special NYC trip.
Even though Joss can get on my nerves, I love how she stands up for Trina. The look the girls gave Dex had me weak. It is past time for Trina to slap someone, and Spencer needs to be the first person in line. He never chooses Trina first. After all these years and he has yet to choose her first! I liked the Sprina scenes today because there is no way but up from here and it moves this nonsensical story to some conclusion. Trina didn't ask Spencer to choose but Spencer made an error when he made that statement about choosing because it actually forces him to choose. He thought by saying that, Trina will back down but she didn't fall for it. Trina chose herself and walked out. Spencer cannot walk what he said back. Trina is not going to accept anything less now that she walked out. So there has to be a resolution because I know Sprina will make up. Cannot wait to see him grovel.

I have said that Spencer & Trina should have been checked out from that Haunted Starr ordeal. I noticed Trina knew something was wrong with him, she zeroed in quickly on him. He came to speak to Trina in the hope she would side with him, but he is not understanding that Trina has a problem with Esme but not Ace. Spencer knows now that Trina is no Esme, and she will bite back. Maybe they both need to step back, and he deals with Esme & Ace. Trina made his job easier, and she gave him options.
in theory yes, but soaps use trauma for drama and that is hard to swallow in the era where getting professional help/therapy is less stigmatized the same way they are selective on DNA testing

Spencer has definitely gotten used to Trina’s kind nature and placating of him, his family and Esme cause I don’t think he expected Trina to walk out after that ultimatum. He expected her to keep being a good sport about him living with & having this makeshift family with Esme which has turned into him unconsciously taking advantage of Trina. That “don’t make me choose between you & Ace” was wrong on so many levels and I’m glad she showed him he doesn’t have to choose her because she’ll choose herself. He’s gonna have to fall on his face & have Esme prove Trina right about her games/motives and deal with the weight of walking on eggshells to be around Ace before anything between him and Trina rectifies itself. Because without Trina we all know it won’t be long before he snaps on Esme especially after this breakup

I disagree with everyone that says Trina didn't talk to Spencer enough. In the beginning sure but for months she’s been telling him that she’s uncomfortable with his arrangement. She said it in the gallery when she asked him to consider what he wanted for their future and he has yet to answer her and she’s been saying for a while that he is not Ace’s father. She told him at Laura’s that she was concerned that there seemed to be no boundaries with him and Esme when it comes to taking care of Ace and that things were spilling over. He still has yet to speak to that concern as well. I agree that he has been trying to make some concessions with spending more time with Trina, separating his life with Esme but that’s also the problem, because of that, now all they have are moments, not 2 people sharing their life together and who wants to live a divided life with the person they love. It's like there is this massive bleeding cut that Spencer has been treating with duct tape and as long as it wasn’t spewing blood he thought he was doing a good enough job which is not only untrue but childish and foolish, now the patient is flatlining cause he’s incompetent - this is how I look at this whole situation Spencer has allowed to fester. As for Ace, Spencer has been swearing up and down to anyone who’ll listen, including Trina, that Esme is a good mother, not even capable or adequate but good. And the show has literally been bending over backwards and writing people out of character to establish this. Like Trina, I am failing to see the immediate danger that Ace is in that Esme needs constant supervision from Spencer. There are so many other ways to keep an eye on her but taking Spencer at his word that isn’t even his concern. His biggest concern is not being able to be Ace’s daddy. Trina simply said no matter the circumstances he will never have a legal right to Ace as he is his brother and not his father. Spencer has no rights no matter where Esme lives so what would be the problem if she moved out? And if he wanted to have parental rights he would need to be in a relationship with Esme as that is the only way that Esme would allow it. And if he is gonna be Ace’s daddy through Esme what kind of relationship does he envision them having. He’s the one that made it all or nothing meaning he needs to be Ace’s dad or he has nothing so she took herself out of the equation cause no way is she gonna stand there and let him turn her into an obstacle rather than a valuable part of his life.
You nailed it! He has no legal rights. Love doesn't give you a legal right. A contract does. It really doesn't matter what Esme's motives are, because she never promised Spencer that this child was his. She was running away from anyone trying to clip that bird from her nest. It is Laura who appealed to her in kind, Trina who tabled the investigation. The lines are blurring. Esme is admitting it. Regardless of who she was, who she is, or who she pretends to be this is a Spencer problem. She is open to him seeing and visiting, and has always said "he's mine". I'm glad she's out of that orbit. He can play house all he wants. Truly is pisspoor writing. The baby is in daycare. My question is why? What is Spencer doing in the day? Esme is setting boundaries. I wish people would just accept Spencer's issues, faults, prime directives in coming to PC, and stop making excuses and blaming everyone else. Trina has been more reasonable and patient with Spencer. First of all, babies won't have much of a vivid memories until they are 3yrs old. So for now Spencer has been consistently losing a grip in reality and what boundaries need to be set. Esme is the legal parent with all the rights to do as she pleases with Ace. Spencer may lot like it, but it hard facts. No Cassadine privilege will will change that. Trina walking away was the first step to Spencer realizing his fantasies of being BroDad to Ace are coming to an end. Spencer needs intensive therapy to sort out his abuse/abandonment issues. Trina can only do so much because she loves the silly dork. She wants what best for Ace. But Trina also doesn't want Esme to think her "access" to Spencer is permanent. Even the grownups are not doing their collective jobs... it will much worse before Spencer is able to see the forest through the trees. ❤

Yeah I’m over it. This guy just said he’d pick his baby brother (who has an active parent that has parental rights, while he has none!) over the person he in love with. He better explain this as a mental breakdown because…??? Your not-even-1-year-old brother over the woman who you’ve been in love with for 3 years??? I know he loves his brother but he’s IN LOVE with Trina. Trina did the right thing, leave because that man who is in love with you, literally admitted that you would come second to something, proving he doesn’t prioritize you (and your relationship). And if he comes back groveling citing the mental breakdown and him saying those thing in anger, still don’t get back with him because he needs to heal - anytime he doesn’t get his way he’ll do this again. This is just weird and annoying. Ace can’t be all of his life or all of his family. Spencer is incapable of starting his own family right now, because if he were to have a kid for himself how would he rationalize Ace. He and Trina are having sex now, so why is he not thinking about this. He should be thinking about Trina getting pregnant and how a family with Trina would be. That would make too much sense so the writers aren’t going in that direction, but it is more likely to be his perspective as a young man in a committed relationship with abandonment issues (that he would consider a family with his partner and that is where his trauma would show up - in the way he fantasizes about that family). Obsessing over the shameful bastard child of you ex-girlfriend/ abuser and neglectful FATHER is a weird way to write Spencer. He wanted nothing to do with them before Ace, so why is he all of a sudden hyper-focused on Ace? It would make more sense that Spencer would have to work through the trauma of his very conception. This is all stupid and makes Spencer look like a man with no concrete sense of self, like a wavering contradiction that is easily swayed by manipulation.
Didn’t he want Evil and Ace to live in Port Charles but not with him? Like when they first got out of the hospital and she moved in to Laura’s he was mad and wanted her out just not away from Port Charles so he could keep an eye on Evil and protect Ace. What happened to that? And don’t tell me the summer, parenting class, or whatever bs the writers contrived to justify Evil’s screen time. When did keeping an on Evil turn into Ace being a part of his daily life? Portia better go down in all of this too because that parenting class empowered Spencer to feel like a dad to this child who isn’t even blood related to him.
He’s not picking between a life with Ace or Trina, he’s picking between a life coparenting Ace with Evil or a healthy relationship with his brother and Evil. Next he’s going to try to bargain and move in with Evil. He speaks as if not living with Ace means he won’t see him and Dex’s stupid behind agreed with that. Shared custody of a baby that’s not yours with a woman you are not with??? No judge would allow that because brother or not, it is seen as a risk that you feel the necessity to be that involved over a child that you already are allowed to present with. Even when he says it out loud Spencer realizes it doesn’t make sense. It’s not even tunnel vision, it’s just him not having anything else. Man he is going to crumble when Nik comes back and/or Ace isn’t a Cassadine. This is the perfect situation for Spencer right now, Evil has ties to Port Charles with a job so she won’t leave, Spencer doesn’t have to cohabitate with Evil, Ace is safe and knows him, Spencer already plays a more active part in Ace’s life, he has a girlfriend who’s fine with him not doing anything in life, and he has his own space (because Laura and Kevin are never around) or can get his own space. He gets to win completely here, but he doesn’t like that because Ace isn’t living with him or because Evil isn’t??? If Nik never left, Spencer wouldn’t be living with Ace anyway because he wasn’t living with Nik anymore and Nik was taking his son. Unless the writers will say this whole storyline would have still happened with Neglectful as a replacement for Evil.

Especially not my sibling who will have their own life to live. I would not give up the love of my life for a sibling. If my sibling is truly my sibling, they will always be in my life or I will be able to see them eventually when they become a legal age and I can reach out. Many mothers have taken their kids from toxic households for the betterment of their child and other siblings have to wait to get to know that child. It isn’t wrong and it happens often unfortunately. It sucks but its a reality you have to deal with because you are not the parent. But the sibling will grow up and live, and so should the other person. Life goes on and you cannot put someone else’s life above your own. Spencer is foolish for thinking his brother comes before his “future wife” (as he claims). Ace will never be his life partner, so Spencer should not prioritize him as such. My siblings could never get rid of me or be abandoned by me, we’re connected for life, I can’t say the same about a romantic interest that I literally had to find and choose to maintain. Ace will live and move on. What would Spencer do if Ace moves out… stay with Evil or finally get on with his life. I get your point but I find it very short-sighted and not thought through in terms of how it would look. I have siblings and they do not come before my boyfriend because they do not come before me and the necessary fulfillment of love for my life. It would never be a choice between them because they are separate and don’t conflict - which they shouldn’t because it’s weird and unhealthy if they do (potential life partner and sibling should not be equal). That’s all I’m saying.

Spencer is spiraling. The anger he held back from his grandmother, he exploded on Trina. She didn't deserve it, but Spencer was too blocked to see Trina's point. Trina also didn't see Spencer's desperation at feeling abandoned by Ace moving. She is fearful of Esme and her power over Spencer. They need to come clean with each other. Hopefully, Joss and Dex can give him observations from outsiders to help him realize that Trina has suffered also and didn't deserve his treatment. 🤔😵💫
I’M SO SICK AND TIRED OF THIS STORYLINE. TRINA HAS SUFFERED FOR 3 YEARS BECAUSE THESE F*CKING WRITERS CAN’T GET OVER THEIR OBSESSION WITH ESME. GH loves Esme so much, they do not care about SPRINA, only for the ratings. GH can't make us love Esme for her wrongdoings and want us to forgive her. They have trolls on these channels reporting back to them on our comments. I am tired of folks saying Trina is bossy but does not call Joss or other women on the show bossy. GH, I hope you are happy to please the haters of Trina & Spencer by breaking them up. You can redeem Esme all day and all night long, she is dangerous and if Spencer takes her back, so be it. I’m actually not nearly as mad as I thought I’d be coming into the episode. A lot of things have gone unsaid around this situation and the last few weeks we’ve started to see Trina being more vocal. I know this might be an unpopular stance, but sex changes relationships. Especially when you’re as young as they are. Trina told Spencer that that progression in their relationship made her start to consider what’s ahead for them. So her not speaking up about her feelings around his living situation doesn’t work for her anymore. Not when she envisions building a future together. Which is why she said that final line, basically stating that for him to have everything he wants he’d be tethered to esme forever(or at least until Ace is gets older). Which would basically end them before they really start… We should all take note of Spencer’s all or nothing language around Ace. We’ve heard him multiple time accuse Trina of saying he should abandon Ace. And today he described his interaction with Laura as her not wanting him to have anything to do with him…I assume we’re gonna see some impulsive, poor decision making coming up. I hope it’s not too damaging to Spencer as a character.
Spencer needed to hear what Trina had to say. Hopefully the reality of the situation will sink in with him. If not, he’s going to lose Trina and Ace. Esme is moving out. Ace is her son, not Spencer’s. I totally understand his abandonment issues, but he’s projecting them on Ace. Spencer needs counseling for his own issues, that’s the bottom line. I’m proud of Trina for not backing down on this. Hopefully Spencer will get his head out if his a** and get the help he needs.
As someone who grew up in a different home from several siblings, Spencer needs to heal 🥴 He has too many unresolved issues and he is hyper-focusing on Ace. “They think Ace shouldn’t be a pet if my life anymore,” no one said that 😭 The delulu is palpable.
He has major trauma about being abandoned by his father. He is seeing Ace as his younger self. He is reliving his childhood through Ace's situation, especially because they share the same father that wasn't around for him. It's a trauma thing for Spencer. He needs therapy.
I reviewed this scene again and Spencer never answered Trina's question, where does this leave us? He said do not make me choose between you and Ace, that is not the answer. She asked him earlier that you know what you need to do to stay in Ace's life, you have to be in a relationship with Esme and he said he loved her and not Esme. Trina wanted him to realize that he wanted to be around Ace, but it can't be that way unless Esme is part of his life. Trina told Spencer, you know what the solution is for that and asked where does this leave us? He should have said Trina, it is no us anymore and not fair to you because to be around Ace, I have to take Esme as the complete package. Spencer's comeback was don't make me choose between you and Ace (threat to me). Trina got the drift of things, why stand there and keep talking and making a fool out of herself, she has pride. She walked on by and walked out of the apartment, she was hurt and insulted by her boyfriend.
This! Woohoo! This is what happens when someone is telling you "do what you have to do". So she did. When Esme gave her last word, walked off, and Laura commanded "stay", that is when his computer crashed. When his brain rebooted it was on pre-Trina Safe Mode, where he commands/demands and takes no shorts. He loves Trina, but his brain was no longer in the present. It was in pre-Trina mode, child-like but still giving orders and people followed, no questions ask but how high to jump. Clinically, his impulsivity doesn't allow him to think of consequences before he acts. That's his method of operation. In his irrational megalomaniacal Cassadine mind, Trina is his but she can wait until he secures Ace. Then once he secures Ace, then he comes for Trina and quite possibly eliminate Esme. That's the Cassadine way. They assess what is most crucial first, and so on. Helena once said to Emily, that loving a Cassadine man is no easy feat. In Spencers mind it doesn't matter that the two things he possesses live in separate situations and one partially obstructs the other. To him, they are both his and he's taking them, anyone be damned. I'm saying this because I think you know how the Cassadine men are dating back to Mikkos. Spencer wasn't raised with a lot of that crazy influence, but he's still raised with no speed bumps, no brakes, or stop lights. He's going for what he wants. Remove all obstacles one by one, once that gene kicks in.

What I have been learning the last few months about the Cassadine clan is so weird. At first, I thought they were vampires from Russia, they were a mess. She did deny him today because he said he would live with her but not in a romantic way. You were on point, she was feeling Spencer until he kept saying, I will set you up, you, Ace & I and she came back and said (ok) but the 4 of us can live together and he said who, she put Trina in it and Spencer was pissed. Esme said she would do it her way. She did not like Spencer's response about raising Ace without the romance, as friends.

That was when Esme was fragile. She's healthy, healed, working mom, and has a Mother of the Year badge pinned on her chest. The living arrangement is the cause of this blurred effect, and that has never been something Trina ascribed to. She has even reminded him "Snap out of it". He mutes what he doesn't want to hear, what doesn't suit his agenda. He is just a handsome trust fund baby. Nothing to do with his brain. He has all the time in the world and plenty enough left to get to a therapist. I love Trina. She makes him more appealing. She brings out the better qualities in him. But even she cannot make him a man. He's not ready for an adult relationship not with this grown ass woman. He doesn't have a very high opinion of old Esme. He might like this one better. I want Esme in jail. Like Trina I don’t give a crap how she is as a mother. She’s yet to pay or even take accountability for her horrendous actions. And if Spencer - who was being manipulated by Esme had to go to jail to pay for his crimes (and let’s be real for her crimes) -, then she can to to jail for hers. I should have made it clearer, after a verbal takedown he would have thought he had been hit for how he spoke. It would have not been yelling and screaming at him. You can make someone regret they ever opened their mouth without yelling, screaming, or cussing. It's amazing how an articulate take down can bring someone to their knees and let them know how ignorant they are, and that they stepped to the wrong person. Love is not abusive. The precedence should never be set to allow someone to think verbal or physical abuse is okay. As far as this storyline....Nope...As far as I am concerned the writers opened the door to lay the seeds for a start of an abusive relationship. Spencer needs therapy for all those unresolved issues he has bottled up inside. I completely understand he’s attached since he’s been helping raise Ace and has been been with him practically every day of his little life but he needs to work WITH Esme, not against her. Acting barbaric like he has ownership over Ace and control over what Esme does with HER son isn’t the way. I also get why Trina saying ‘finally’ may have rubbed him the wrong way but he shouldn’t have yelled at her and insinuated he would pick Ace over her, especially since Trina never and would never make him choose her over his little brother. I hope Trina keeps her distance for a bit and they don’t let this situation go with some weak apology on Spencer’s part. This drama with Ace/Esme needs to be resolved once and for all and Spencer needs to get a life preferably a hobby or a job.
Loved today. Great drama. Written well. Actually thought the way they incorporated Dex and Joss was well done. I’m actually looking forward to next week. Honestly the only thing that will make me rage quit at this point is Spencer sleeping with Esme.

He was not listening and when she said finally, she is moving, Spencer got pissed. He needs to go back and review when he said it was going to be temporary when he moved in with his grandma to help out. He was lying, he was already getting attached and didn't realize it or want to admit it. But what about Trina's reaction when he rushes off when they are on a date or Esme interrupts them at Laura. Trina asked him will this be forever, and he said no. Spencer knew Trina did not like being around Esme but did not mind being around Ace. Trina should have gotten some counseling from that drug Esme gave her (dangerous drug).
Just say you're a Portia supporter and let it be that. Second, stop putting people under one umbrella. To say that's why people like him because of his looks is pretty juvenile. And if you're gonna get on here and speak about mental abuse then you should know what Portia is, and has done to Trina. She is a narcissist who used emotionally abusive tactics on both her daughter and Spencer. That would make her abusive. Lastly, this situation needed to happen. because of Spencer's abandonment issues, and him being a victim of mental and emotional abuse by both his father and Esme it was only a matter of time before he would hit this point. Spencer is letting his emotions cloud his judgement. He was blind sided by his grandmother whose been acting shady asf as of late. Then to top it off she's been siding with a woman who abused him and violated her other grandson and almost sent the love of his life to prison, so of course he's angry. With that said, it doesn't take a genius to see the forest through the trees that Spencer is spiraling. He's held in this anger for a very long time. Spencer isn't a bad guy, he's a victim of abuse; something that happens in a lot of households, unfortunately, including relationships. What's going on has been headed in this direction for some time now. Everyone that's been close to him either screwed him over, lied, or died; his father being the biggest betrayal. So it's only natural he's going to cling to Ace. Ace helps fill that void of abandonment, but he also knows it's not feasible/sustainable. It's another reason why he lashed out. Anxiety, and fear of abandonment was the driving force behind his emotional state today. And he'll find out soon enough that Esme is screwing with him as she did yesterday. But let me make something clear, this is a LOVE STORY whether you like it or not. And Spencer needs therapy. Trina made the right decision. But as NAC said, they're endgame, so i expect a lot of apologizing along with him reasessing who he is and who he wants to be. He's gotta hit bottom in order to get better. THAT'S the reality here. As for Esme, it's already been established, he doesn't give a shit about her. It's Trina and Ace. Over and out. P.S. Yes, this is a spiral for Spencer for sure. He’s sabotaging himself. And yes this probably needs to happen so that we can move beyond this storyline and just have regular drama. But this is alot at once lol. We waited two years for a kiss then months for them to be intimate, all the while them as a couple ducking and dodging Esme and Portia. They just face obstacle after obstacle after obstacle… it’s maddening as a fan. Yes, I think we’re all clear that Spencer loves Trina. I’m glad he’s said it multiple times and now we have witnesses. So anyone thinking this attitude by him was intentional or he was being an ass on purpose, please step back and reassess how he's always checked his tone with Trina. I have never liked this adult Spencer. His cousin Sam said his behavior was cute when he was a kid, now it's annoying. Trina makes him digestible. I watched him when he came to town. And there was nothing there. Trina brought out the better qualities in him. He needs to leave town and regroup.

She drugged Trina & Oz, and that drug is one of the #1 drugs in my state that has killed many folks, including a friend of mine 4 years ago. GH can keep pushing the Esme & Ace storyline until it goes over that cliff. Spencer & Trina are very young and will have some more downs in this relationship. Many folks are jealous of the chemistry and popularity of SPRINA (Point Blank). They rocked it in NYC, but they rock it with all their scenes. I am Team SPRINA to the end.

I'm reading these comments and boy o boy. Yes Trina's reaction to the news was a bit insensitive especially in light of seeing how upset Spencer was. So that already started an already spiraling Spencer down a dark road because the person he ran to for solace was not having it. However, it's time for Spencer to face the true reality of his situation. In taking the trip to NYC, making love and saying ILY, he changed the game. There's no going back to what was anymore. He's in a committed relationship with Trina and it's past time he started thinking about his future with her and how she fits in this unhealthy situation he created. They can't go back to status quo. He told Trina he loved her, he was happiest with her and took her virginity in NYC. Y'all not going to tell me that Trina shouldn't be thinking that she wants a future and wants to know what that's going to look like from Spencer's perspective. She's well within her rights to want to know that and to want Spencer to start thinking about their future. The fact that Spencer wants to continue to bury his head in the sand and not think about what the future will look like is unrealistic because you can't tell me that they all going to live there until Ace turns 18 or that Nik is just going to stay gone. Things change. Things have to change, it's as simple as that. What Spencer is doing is commendable but not sustainable because he's not the father and he's not in a relationship with Esme. So knowing that, what was the endgame? That's what Trina and trying to get Spencer to see. At some point hard decisions needed to be made, whether that be he moves on from Trina and continue this unhealthy little family situation he created with Esme or continue with Trina and set some healthy boundaries in a sibling type relationship with Ace. Does Spencer want to get married one day? Does he want children of his own? Does he want a career/job? Does he expect Esme not to date? This situation is unhealthy and good for no one including Ace. There needs to be clear boundaries and there simply isn't any. If Esme is truly different than she would encourage Spencer in continuing to be a part of Ace's life but we all know the true answer to that which is why no one has tested the waters until now. Esme has been slipping under the radar with her performance and no one has been challenging her because they on this amnesia train and things had been going her way for the most part so she hasn't rocked the boat too much just steadily trying to reel Spencer in using Ace. The NYC trip and Nik sighting has changed all that. She now has to make moves and the status quo has ended and some real truths are about to be revealed. Esme has done a masterclass of a con but just like before she's gonna trip up because Trina is her achilles heel
He felt mocked, and I understood it too. In that moment he needed Sonny, not Trina. Despite what he expected which was her warm embrace and some kisses, he needed a grown man's advice. Now that he's older, he avoids men because he's aware he's not developmentally one yet. I have too laughed inappropriately. LOL. But she told him the day would come. I know people don't like the writing, because it is delaying some vindication for Trina, making Sprina stressed, but the reality is that we are seeing the unpacking of trauma.

I've been waiting for the living situation at Grandma Laura's to change. Uncle Kevin foreshadowed this when he and Laura returned from Europe. Everyone knows Nik is alive, and he will return eventually. Esme has been comfortable for too long. Will Spencer choose her and Ace over Trina. Possible for the short-term. But in the end, his heart will return to Trina. That's when true Esme will appear!! I can't wait!
The Cassadine blood in Spencer will be his downfall. Unfortunately, he will put the nail in the coffin of “Sprina” when he uses the evidence that his uncle left. Can I say how I dislike that TPTB slow-burn their relationship, got us on board, rooted for them, to just break them up?

I used to enjoy Trina and spencer scenes I don’t anymore their relationship was once fun to watch and follow now it’s a strange game of Trina feeling in competition with a baby. I’m glad she broke up with him because spencer is not ready for a committed relationship with her. Who tells their girlfriend to not make them choose between her and a baby she won’t like the answer this has to be the most ridiculous storyline I have ever seen. Also why did they have this conversation in dex apartment with josslyn and him present that was also really weird. November sweeps with gh has been awful so far.
It wasn't too bad. A lot of the polarity is because of holding on too tight. I've been around since Monica was a scrub nurse married to Jeff Webber, but still in love with Rick and that mess bled all the way to her marriage to Alan. Messy! It's soaps. I'm not afraid of the pen. I can take it, leave it. But the passion of that fight makes me want to stick around. Not to be eye-abused, but to see the characters grow. Spencer has miles to go. He may never get there. But he will always remember Trina as the greatest love of his life. If he forgets, the fans won't.

I understand that. This is why I will not drag any comment that suggests they end because one can only take so much. I have lines in the sand too. My level is close. Two things I will not watch and remain hopeful is Trina enduring abuse for Sprina breadcrumbs. Why I say I'm a TrinaFF is because I don't care what Spencer does in his messy manic state if the show is going to trivialize to "soapy angst" and promote "endgame for Sprina, just watch wait and see" I'm nearly 50 years in history for this show, and I'm not that stupid to believe Spencer is going to become interesting with Esme and then find his way back to Trina healed with a whole bunch of kids from that psycho who will never see justice. @@teresajefferson3095
Spencer has a lot of mental issues due to his father and I'm very confused as to why no one sees this. Him latching onto Ace is him protecting "himself" as a neglected child. I'm not saying that he doesn't love his brother but it's clearly more about him and Nikolaus and the lasting damage Nikolaus' selfishness and neglect has caused Spencer. A lot of people act that just because Spencer is an adult now that he should just man up. But that's the problem. He's still a young adult and he will carry that neglect for the rest of his life. He needs a lot of therapy to be able to get over it. Boy was acting unhinged about Ace's changed appt. Not one person has suggested he see a therapist on the show and it's mind boggling. Only when he can fix his issues can he be in his best place to be a good partner to Trina. Trina can empathize and support him, but she cannot fix his problems for him.
@@loulou-fx9fu Sweetie, I know (Old School), he cares, and he knows she was not only pissed but hurt. He didn't know how to react, because he thought she was going to cry and bow her head down. This is 2023 for all women in the house and not 1923, we have a voice and will use it. Trina also knew what Joss had said about shouting. I think Spencer is thinking about a lot of things right now. They will make it as a couple, they both have to get on the same page and communicate is the key, kiss and makeup and hold each other.

There's something being told about these Cassadine men and their offspring and relatives...Look at the Valentin /Anna shoots Charlotte sl that's running parallel to Spina/Ace. The over protective parental presence, nearly obsessed with the kids, hiding vital information from and betraying the people they say they love to "protect" the child. Valentine and Spencer are a wild mirror right now. I don't know enough details about the Cassadine family history except that they were rich and crazy!😂Victor showed us a lot. He kidnapped Ace and Spencer in his obsession to control the family & the world. These men are from that SAME bloodline... So. who knows what Spencer or Valentin may do behind these children. Valentin just destroyed his relationship with Anna by not telling her that it was Charlotte terrorizing her. He just "wanted to be a good father" to her and protect her. Spencer is saying similar things. This father /child trauma goes way back with them.

Who always stand by you even against momma Portia ? Who was willing to risk everything and die for you to save you from your madman uncle Victor? And I could keep going on, and on, and on, about all the qualities that woman has displayed for more that 2 years now... to get this 🤯 from you? What are the writers doing with this character? On a positive note, Queen Trina epitomized the Christabel Pankhurst best quote : 'Remember the dignity of your womanhood. Do not appeal, do not beg, do not grovel. I'm glad that Trina got all the clarity that she needed today from Spencer, she know for a fact now that she's always gonna be second place when it comes to Ace because of Esme using him for her shenanigans. I'm also very proud of her for standing her ground and giving Spencer the break the deserves. She's still better than me cause i would've broke it off right there and then.

I hate to say this, but I just don't like when Spencer and Trina are going to breakup, they we're supposed to Love each other. Spencer didn't have to yell at Trina Robinson like that, that is so Disrespectful.
I thought the same thing. But I don’t think he’s fully realized that she actually walked out. He’s still so focused on losing Ace, which is why I think next week we HAVE to watch him pleading with ole girl. Spencer’s full breakdown hasn’t happened yet.! It’s the start of the unraveling
Spencer is behaving exactly how I'd expect the heir of the Cassidine(Corinthos) fortune to behave! An Arrogant, spoiled, entitled, elitist, power hungry, snob with severe abandonment issues! If Laura doesn't reign him in or Courtney doesn't make a heavenly visit then he's going to be worse than his Cassidine predecessors! None of this is up to Trina or should fall on Trina because it is not her responsibility to parent Spencer he is not a child he's an adult! It makes for a very unpredictable, unhealthy, volatile and unwise relationship.....
Hopefully we see at least one of his family members suggest therapy before they’re talking around him and not too him they are also apart of the problem
I dont know about this. The way Spencer talked to Trina…..NOP. IF IT WERE ME , I WOULD WALK AWAY FROM IT ALL. Trina has gone through too much. GH get it together. I am sick of the Esme mess and this crazy, obsessed Spencer.
Spencer is putting all of his insecurities and problems onto Ace. Plus, there’s a chance that Ace isn’t even his brother and a Cassadine. We all remember when Esme fell over the parapet at Wyndemere and was put up in that Canadian hostel by some man…..well a good amount of time must’ve past between that, and when Esme showed up at Wyndemere being confronted by Nikolas. I guarantee that the guy who put her in the hostel either raped her, or she seduced him resulting in Ace but of course because Esme was a felon for what she did to Trina, Joss, and Cam….she needed an excuse to stay out of jail so she lied about Ace being Nikolas’s son for leverage. The only problem is that because Esme apparently “lost her memory” it would either have to take someone to scare her enough to admit that she’s faking it, or her memory will eventually come back but whether or not she’s the old Esme we don’t know,

FV and writers of (GH) know exactly what there doing to. SPRINA. They got Spencer character so obsessed with Ace. It doesn't make any sense. What (GH) need to do is. Finally get an DNA test done on Ace. So we can see if he is an Cassidine or not. They didn't want (SPRINA) together in the first place. And that is really sad. When they do an DNA test on Ace. When they found out he is not a Cassidine. What will Spencer do. Ace isn't his brother after all. Only time will tell.
