@@TeresaWilliams-fz6ks Robin was an insufferable, hypocritical, jealous little Pwincess who threw a tantrum when she lost Jason to Michael and his mother.
She thought she was "freeing," Jason from Carly. She refused to understand he didn't want to be free, even after he straight told her he couldn't imagine a future without Carly in it.
@@jrchandlerfan2.019 Yeah, I guess so. I can't defend Jason's actions as a parent. I can only say he's consistent in putting Carly first, and he does that of his own free will...even when *Carly* does not want him to.
She didn’t do that for the right reasons in that moment she did that because she thought that she could control the outcome and It didn’t go the way she thought it was gonna go with Jason being Okai and say thank you robin for freeing him but instead she hurt him more than anyone else
Robin did all this for the wrong reasons. She said so Carly couldn't do this or that. Yet Carly loved Jason more than Robin ever could. Never liked her. She just didnt want Carly to have Jason
Robin didnt have a problem with Jason raising Michael as long she could be his mother and not Carly. Robin was jealous of Carly and her friendship with Jason
No, as Robin pointed out, Carly often used Michael to get what she wanted from men (Here, mainly those men were Jason and Sonny). I think she did the right thing, but unfortunately lost Jason over it. I think as someone else said, Jason loved Michael more than Robin. I would have been tempted to do the same thing. But so many people are so fascinated by Carly's scheming ways, they like her and want her and Jason to raise the baby, even though she often used Jason in mean ways that Jason didn't understand.
@@brynne77 I also think Robin did the right thing by telling AJ Michael was his son but she should have told Jason what she was going to do because i don't think she did that.
@@ErinFindsHerWay my point was if you want to keep a secret don't tell Robin. As for who Spencer would be better off with I would look for an option C.
Everybody has blamed Carly for what went wrong in their relationships with Jason but she couldn't do anything that Jason didn't allow her to do when Carly had a problem Jason dropped everything to go help her whether it was big or small. Here it is 24 years later & if Jason was still alive nothing would be any different bc Carly holds a place in Jason's heart that's eternal no matter who's he with Carly will always in his life. Now for Robin she was wrong bc it wasn't her place to tell A.J about Michael being his son & she could've at least told Jason she was going to tell A.J the truth but she went to A.J first then came to Jason to explain why she did what she did but either way it was going to blow up in her face & destroy their relationship.
And here we are, Jason is back again, and Carly is still #1. Even when Carly HERSELF doesn't want Jason to sacrifice himself for her. He can't not do it, he just can't, it is not in him. 🤷🏿
I think the 2024 term for Robin's behavior of telling AJ about his child would be.... she was being messy and petty af. Robin is very messy telling AJ about his child and then telling Nick cassadine about his child she was being very messy and Petty
All this time I thought, how could these writers put Robin and Jason together? That’s why I always skipped over most of their scenes (because I can’t stand the Robin character)…. But now I get it! She loves to feel superior over everyone! She’s the self appointed morals police in Port Charles so of course it would feed her ego to be with someone she felt she had to constantly correct and teach “right from wrong”…..now it makes sense!
No, you are very wrong, diana. Robin does not have a huge ego. But you can go on thinking that way because it sounds like you've convinced yourself you're right.
I'm sort of torn about this because one hand i understand why Robin did what she did but on the other hand it wasn't her secret to tell.Plus she should have told Jason that she was going AJ the truth before she did it and that way at least Jason could hear Robin's reasons for doing it beforehand and not be caught off-guard.
Why is it her decisions to tell the truth when she didnt tell Patrick drake about her being pregnant i know he didnt want to be the father but still has the right to know
She didn’t have any idea what a good Mom CARLY would eventually turn out to be; and that it is all a learning process. It was really none of ROBIN’S business. (But I grew to like ROBIN again later, tho.)
The funny part is, Robin actually thought people were going to kiss her ass for telling AJ the truth about Michael, but she lost everything! I laughed my ass off when everyone turned on her! And then for her just to drop this bombshell and leave town, totally wrong! And Jason is the father on the birth certificate so he has as much rights to Michael as Carly! Robin just wanted to be a little brat and blow everything apart and then skip town.
No, Robin did that because Cary was using Michael as a MEAL TICKET and a way to use and manipulate Jason. But I don't think Jason saw it that way. I don't think he was able to understand that Carly was using him.
@@brynne77 she should've let Jason find out on his own, he's a big boy. Robin was so jealous of the bond between Jason and Carly and Michael it wasn't even funny. She dropped the bomb because she realized that Jason wasn't going to leave Carly and Michael.
Robin had no right even if AJ had a right to know, she did it for all the wrong reasons. She did it because she was jealous of Jason’s relationship to Carly. She knew for a long time that AJ was his father and was fine keeping it to herself when Carly was gone and not in her face.
Man, Kimberly McCullough doesn't look bad at all with short hair. When I came I was thinking to myself, "Is that really Robin?" But it is! Man, she rocked that short hair well!
Robin was family to Sonny until Carly deposited herself into it. I felt bad for Robin she was never going to fit into that world. It was time for her exit. It was better that she controlled the narrative than being pushed out without a cause of her own making.
Robin did cause herself to be pushed out. Her relationship with Sonny is fine, At this time Sonny hated Carly. Her going behind Jason's back and asking Sonny to fire him is what killed her relationship to Jason. She told because she wanted Carly gone, but Jason didn't want Carly gone. You are right on the part where she was never gonna fit into their world.
So do I, carly is right about her. Robin does pass judgment on other people and she really needed to mind her own business. I would love to see someone slap robin for once
Sorry Robin, you might have tried, but Jason is still at the mercy of Carly to this day. He has no life outside of her, he's not even there for his own sons, only Carly and Sonny's children.
Carly named Jason as her son's father because PJ just like Dr Jones threatened to take him from her....Robin was absolutely wrong here.....she told PJ for one reason and one reason only....because she was a petty jealous shrew with a God complex.....PJ was the sperm donor....Jason was Micheal's father.
Finally someone making sense! AJ is his father PERIOD! Jason won't like it when his kids are kept from him. The fact that this is C**** M.O. she has always keep her kids from their real father. Just ask AJ, Sonny and J**.
Carly was holding the responsibility of Michael’s safety over Jason’s head. She’s always using her kids to guilt people, her and Elizabeth have that in common. Robin loved Jason, she wanted to free him. She did what she thought was right .
Jason didn't want to be free. Carly didn't do anything Jason didn't allow. Have you watched the scenes when he cuts people off??? If he want to be done with Carly she wouldn't be able to stop that. He allows her behavior.
@@Nataku007the Q's really were not better than Sonny, Carly or Jason.....their lives were dangerous but they had much better morals than the Q's.....actually they did a whole lot worse than Sonny and Jason.....the only thing that made them seem better was because they were supposedly good people.....my ass....they were far worse.
😂😂😂… Well do your remember episode many many years later after Mikey got shoot Jason told Robin she was right and he was wrong…. So glad Carly never got Jason …. It all worked out Robin got the man and kids anyway…❤
Come on now....Robin was wrong....if she really wanted to do the right thing she should of ratted them out as soon as she found out but her self righteous ass didn't....but i do agree with her selling Michael to the highest bidder.
Definitely one of the most selfless things Robin did. Took a lot of strength. Everything Robin said about what Carly was doing was spot on and the evidence is in the storylines. Scenes like this you really are reminds how much Jason has changed.
I actually see Robin being the one who was manipulating Jason here. Carly is honest with him right or wrong and he made his choice. It was wrong what they did to AJ - agreed. But Robin had a long time playing family with J&M when Carly was away and didn't say a word. Robin was always trying to manage J. iMO, she was simply jealous and spiteful and turned him exactly toward the person she wanted out of his life. Should AJ know it was his kid. Absolutely. But Robin didn't tell him, at that moment, for that reason.
