@@DrKFC69 It works it just doesn't work like it does in any other game. In the tutorial it even says that it works, for example: you have to hold the Green fret button and while holding it, hit the red and yellow hammer ons while holding red and yellow as you hit them, that's how it works. This is the only GH game where you do this. GH1 is not broken as many fucking idiots think it is.

I think I found out how much the pitch is reduce by... I drug TTFAF into Audacity and reduced the pitch via frequency by 40%. Got the exact same sound as yours did.

GH1 had HOPOs but like what Jack said, they are pretty much broken: They require very accurate/precise timings (SO TIGHT!) and they just don't work most of the time. Guitar Hero II fixes the HOPO issue a little bit but the HOPO system wasn't perfected until Guitar Hero III.

yes, in gh1 you need to kinda hold the last strummed note on while doing an HOPO whiteout a strum, in GH2 it was already better, but 3 really go the HOPO greatly done.

BabySquirel Mc Every Guitar Hero Arcade game I tried is always out of sync and is virtually unplayable. I'm great at Guitar Hero (not close to Acai, Ukog, Danny or Jason level but relatively decent) but the arcade port is so terrible

Hammer ons and pull offs in GH1 only work if you have hold down the note before it. So if you have green, red and yellow hopo set, you hit the green as normal but dont let go of it and hammer on the red and yellow while keeping the lower notes held down. The timing window is also small. That's the the Harmonix GH games were programmed.

Not true. Have fc of cowboys from hell in gh1 engine playing it with hopo's. You have to tap each fret at the exact moment and realas it instantly to get a good flow (hi random 6 y/o comment❤)
