As a Jamaican raised in Washington DC. I prefer to live in Ghana. Me and my Nigerian /Ghanaian wife recently purchased 55 acres of land in the eastern region of Ghana for a poultry farm . We left there about 3 weeks ago.

How come Africans are so biased about Nigeria. Yet, Nigeria has not decrease in rising population like every other countries... Nigeria population is still the biggest. We all know what makes up population is not just the citizens alone but also foreigners. There are many beautiful and peaceful cities to live in Nigeria. The question was: "Where would you like to live and work?" Two key words: 1. Live 2.Work. The interviewees answers reflect which of the keys words they find more important. The same applies to the commentators here. Generally the answer should be as follows: To work: Nigeria To live : Ghana There are many Nigerians(and Europeans) who live in Ghana with their families but all their businesses in Nigeria. It's only 45 minutes away. I know a couple of Nigerians who commute daily from Accra to their Lagos office. First flight out to Lagos and last flight back home to Accra. They get home sooner than they would if they lived in Lagos.
I think for someone to live like that, they must be a business mogul, because it must be very expensive. I guess it says a lot about Ghana too, for them to want to travel back to Ghana everyday.

From ur video I think people do not know anything about Nigeria. There sense of understanding about Nigeria is limited to just Lagos. Although Lagos largely reflect the ruggedness and tenacity of Nigerians, it also reflect a small portion of the Nigeria state. A Ghanaian is stating the value of the currency. It shows you have limited exposure. The Japanese or Chinese currency are not the most power currency in the world but their economy is third and second respectively. Ghana is only Accra and nothing beyond Accra and Kumasi. About 10 years or so Ghana was faced with a major blow in their economy that the president at that time had no choice than create a policy that would match Cedis and dollar in same value 1 cedis to 1 dollar. The fall of naira is not a reflecting of the Nigeria economy but it is as a result of the devaluation of the naira. The IMF wants the naira to be floated which most outgoing president couldn’t do because of the complexity of the Nigeria economy. I may not advise anyone to live in Nigeria as a result of insecurity but if you really want to succeed in life. You need a test of Nigeria in your CV. Nigeria great nation Great people. The only true Africans in Africa.
I have been to Kenya as a Ghanaian, it's a vibrant city, it has similarities to Accra. Both people are welcoming. Kenyans speak so slow English because their Swahili tongue kind of. I love the Kenyans, clean city with good weather. I realized the living conditions in Kenya is some how higher and they die ealier than the Ghanaians, the stress there is high, Ghana cedis stronger. You must carry your ID on you everywhere you go which different from. In terms of freedom, calmness police -police civilians relationship Ghana is the best. But apart from Ghana i choose Kenya. I love the infrastructure settings. However, if a Ghanaian and you land in Nairobi beware some people they call them conmen. They are dangerous, on Ghana people call them jonkeys and they are hameless unlike the cornmen.
You are doing a good job highlighting Jamaica. Slavery is over 400 years, jamaicans originally are from Ghana, Nigeria and Benin. Currently there are lots of different nationalities living there but not necessarily from days of slavery. Jamaica has served a lot of African countries with distinction especially during colonialism in Africa. Jamaican attorneys always represented some African leaders because it was the main country with attorneys with the distinction of been Queen Counsel (QC) from Kenya, Senegal, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania South Africa etc. Examine the colours in the South African flag. Most of the 54 countries in Africa has Jamaican residents.

They should be more developed than they are right now, cos the whole of Ghana is like 2 or 3 states in Nigerian's 36 states plus Abuja 37. Imagine 2 states comparing with 37.
