I'm Indian but I was expecting this result. Ghana are former U-17 Champions and are the Brazilian equivalent of youth level football. You can't expect our developing football nation to beat a champion. But overall, I'm very happy with the boys performance for this WC especially the match against Colombia were were almost drew with them. These boys have a bright future

You can't expect world class levels from a footballing side that's still in its infancy. Remember if they weren't hosts they wouldn't have been playing in the tournament let alone performing well.

It's an opportunity for India to improve its game--I hope we don't give up. The boys played better than I had expected them to. There are a few weaknesses that any football fan can tell. We also need an attitude adjustment. The game was lost in the locker room. They returned dispirited from the first half. Something similar happened in the India-Colombia game. They started mentally celebrating after winning the goal. It's important to learn how to handle victories and defeats. India also has another objective - to host the tournament as gracious hosts. Finally, now is the time to include other states--participation from some states was visibly absent.
