What an awesome trek. We hiked the Ghorepani Poon Hill circuit in Nepal. We did it in 4 days:
Day 1: Naya Pul to Ulleri - took around 3.5 to 4 hours
Day 2: Ulleri to Ghorepani - took around 3.5 to 4 hours
Day 3a: Ghorepani to Poon Hill - took around 30-45 mins
Day 3b: Then back to Ghorepani
Day 3c: Ghorepani to Tadapani - took around 6 hours
Day 4: Tadapani to Birethanti - took around 7 hours
If I were to do it again, I would have done an extra day and stayed in Ghandrung. It was very beautiful there but we needed to get back to Pokhara.
The trek isn't that difficult if you're relatively fit. We packed too much which made it a little harder, but overall it is pretty easy. You don't need a guide. We didn't book any tea houses either, we just showed up and they had open rooms.
Next up will be ABC. Can't wait.
