Awesome, have a great time this Chuseok. I've read that the island has changed a lot and that a new airport will be opening soon. Let me know how it is after your next visit. I would like to go back as well.

Ya, it is a great ride. If you have the time, try to fit it in. I rode from Seoul to Busan in October as well. It is a great month to do it. Beautiful colours. Have a great ride.
I packed protein bars/powder, nuts and dates. I ate once at a restaurant that was at the top of a mountain, and the rest of the time I bought food/drinks from convenience stores (i.e. CU, GS24). There are public restrooms all over Korea; very easy to find. I camped outside for the whole trip. Everything I mentioned was either on the bike path, or 100 meters off the bike path.

yes. You can do it a lot faster if you're not going to record your ride. From the middle of Seoul to Chuncheon is around 115KM. Only a few small hills. Have a great ride.

hi! I'm going to attempt the bike ride from Seoul to Chuncheon this weekend! How early do you recommend leaving from seoul? and was there any problem putting the bikes on the subway?
Earlier the better. Less people on the path and you won’t be worried about getting back to Seoul. It is around 115km one way. No problems bring your back on the subway on the weekend. You have to be in either the first or last subway car. Have a great ride
*I have used my GoPro HERO4 Silver ever since I got it back in 2016 **do7.pl/GoPro4** Since then, the HERO5 and HERO6 have come out, and I'm sure the increase in capability is exactly as advertised. But for longevity and maximizing the quality of the product for the price, I think the HERO4 has the rest of the GoPro items beat. It is a solid product that has withstood the test of time. I wish it had built-in stabilization, but it can be easily done in post production.*
