I'm kind of embarrassed that I feel the need to comment on EVERY single Jellyfish (sometimes twice) video in existence on RU-vid but it can't be helped. I will always be impressed. Despite trying not to, I will continue to sing their songs at top volume when I'm driving. I will always introduce them to people who are unaware when given the chance - my latest was the guy who works at the car wash. I will always think that their talent is 'Hall of Fame' worthy. I will always wonder about Andy and if he has a huge stash of songs he's written but isn't sharing. I'll probably keep commenting on videos as well, Oh well - till next time. Thanks for sharing, Shalom.

Should have been absolutely massive. Spilt Milk is simply perfection.

For nearly thirty years (okay 28) I have tried to find out who the feck I saw peforming live on Jools Holland one night after I got back from the pub. I remember trying to describe the band to a colleague a few weeks later (no internet or any way of finding out who it was I'd seen back then). I said they sang like Beach Boys, played like 10CC, The Beatles, XTC, Pilot, Wire, Robert Wyatt... All that could be heard in the UK at the time in 1993 was Britpop, Techno, House and a kinda Shoegaze/Grunge thing. Tonight on a different YT video the band "Jellyfish" was named. The name hardwired me back to 1993. In about two clicks I found this clip and the very performance I saw half a lifetime ago. I am blown away again. This is really marvellous. What talent. Now excuse me... I have some CDs to buy and an entire back-catalogue of listening to catch up on... Thank you very much for posting this.

I don't think I've ever seen a live performance with better vocals -- both production- and ability-wise. This is simply amazing.

2024 and this still stands as one of the best live performances of any band ever!!! 👌🏼

I'm a muso and I discovered them far too late. I feel like I'm a bit uncultured not checking them out earlier. With all the noise and dross competing for attention, I just overlooked them. And now mind blown.

Leonard Cohen's applause seemed very genuine and enthusiastic when the performance was finished; you can hear him clapping with cupped hands and it goes on after Jools gave the outro announcement. I've watched this several times now and its fascinating. He looks pretty intense too, like he really appreciated / respected the performance.
@mrmeatler
I can’t believe such a musically talented band didn’t make it farther. Love them.
@howardmaryon
Astounding! I hear Beach Boys, Electric Light Orchestra, Queen and Beatles all rolled up into this amazingly well rehearsed and produced four piece.

2023 and still listening to this band: can a band be more classy than Jellyfish?
@webkahmik
Just outstanding, letter perfect, with passion. On Brit TV, no less.

FUUUUUCK....and that was live folks. No overdubs, fixes, enhancements or studio trickery... Jellyfish should have been the second coming of the Beatles. Alas it was not to be. Thank God we have those 2 incredible studio albums, and clips like this circulating (thanks to RU-vid)
@paulboughen3422
They are Americans with 100% British mind in their heart definitely!soooooo rare American band , that’s why I instantly fell in love!!!😢😢😢😢😢🎉
@StephenGray-ny7yq
I first saw them supporting INXS at Wembley Stadium in 1991 & they blew me away. The Bellybutton & Spilt milk albums were exceptional. The guys were so talented, gutted when they split up.
@paulboughen3422
This is the best live show of a ghost at number one,definitely!!!🎉🎉🎉
