My husband and I were married just shy of 20 years. In Oct he passed away and I can actually see him saying these things to me bc since he passed little things have been happening and he always said he'd haunt his wedding ring lol. I really enjoy the new song. Thank you Tom and Nova
I'm so sorry to hear of your husband's passing, just like you my husband also died this past October on the 15th. Unexpectedly and insane way of passing but he had a lot of blood clots in both of his lungs and was struggling to breathe that night of the 15th and I legitimately thought he was having a severe panic attack as these signs were not normal signs of a blood clot because he did have a condition that could possibly make him have blood clots which we had one episode 10 years ago with a blood clot in his lung but when I got the autopsy report back I was shocked to find out that there was not just one there was so many in each long he died 10 minutes after they left the house in the ambulance but they didn't tell me for 3 hours later. His birthday Halloween Thanksgiving Christmas and New Year's Eve all fell right after he passed just like your husband and you have probably an undoubtedly been just as upset and sad as I've been. This song came out and I just looked up at the sky and said to my husband as I do a lot I talked to him like he's still here I just look up to the sky and talk to him that way instead but the first time I heard it I looked right up and it was such a beautiful day and I said man I hope they have got Spotify in heaven LOL I told him that I just knew this song would be one he would love and this would be one of our shared love songs and every time I hear it I feel his presence. Not like he's haunting me but almost like he's with me. Anyways I just wanted you to know you're not alone and apparently I've seen so many posts already that there been so many women that have lost their husbands recently right before the song come out that this song has touched a lot of our hearts that are missing the person that we would dedicate this song to. @@ericashelnut9052 thank you. I'm so sorry for your loss as well. It's hard to believe some days they are gone but I believe he's in a better state than he was here bc of the cancer and chemo. I'm sure you feel the same w what your husband went through. Thinking of you during this time.

My Jay, my soulmate, my daughter's dad, my caretaker, my best friend, my ride or die, the love of my life, and all other positions that he filled as a huge part of my life, passed away early morning of August 24th (exactly 2 weeks to the day my Mom passed which was on August 10th)... It's been a huge adjustment to go on each day without him, and my Mom, being here... Like all of you Tom's song for Nova would be a song that fits my Jay and I as well... I hope you all are surrounded by loved ones to help comfort you and help make your days a bit easier on your hearts... I also hope you're surrounded by music that helps the pain of losing your soulmates a little easier... They're still with us just in a different form and I feel they let us know by the songs that happen to play when music is on (they talk to us through the songs)... When "Ghost" comes on it's our Guys just reminding us they're still watching over us and are waiting til the day we're together again... Blessings to you ❤️🥰❤️

OMG! That is awesome, I have never met someone with a similar story as mine! My husband and I met through his best friend, who I met online. The 2nd day we knew each other he asked me not to leave. One month later we got married and in April it will be our 25th anniversary!! Tom and Nova remind me of my husband and I, we always pick fun at each other and just try to have as much fun with each other as possible!
My late husband put up with my putting up 13 Christmas trees in our house every year, obsessed with Christmas. This song got me this morning. Many tears. Hearing all these stories of lost loves has me in my head im 28 my wife is 42 first love first everything but your comment your vows hit me deep that and i lost my pops 6 months ago my mom is through eternity woman as well even when he became a meth addict he died at 65 with it in his system but she never left him high and dry even when i did i saw my dad die twice once when he gave into his demons and the day they ended him so i empathize with this alot

Forty years of marriage to my best friend this past August. Despite what anyone tells you, it can happen. Find someone who loves you for yourself, someone who makes you laugh, and commit to being there for each other no matter what. We've been to hell and back with two bouts of cancer and the fallout from the treatments. It could have destroyed our relationship, but it only made it stronger. When things get bleak, we just look at each other and say, "You and me. That's what matters. As long as we have us, we'll get through it." It's been our mantra through all the dark days.
