I love their energy. The way Tom gives her shit and she reacts completely unphased by it knowing full well they have nothing to worry about in their relationship. They have so much fun together even when there are other things they could be doing. Tom is always hard on his grind and that weight carries stress and frustration and Nova seems to be perfect for him in being able to help him channel it and keep the light bouncing all around. My sisters youngest loved it too. I had gotten it for her birthday. I wasn't able to stay and suggested to my sister that she read it to her before putting her to bed. Turns out she read it to her mother before going to bed.

I'll take it one step further, Dave also did drugs and slept with another man's girlfriend behind his wife's back. Dave hiding drug use and cheating on his wife makes him a piece of shit. Also, he had/has such a narcissistic attitude and I have no idea wife. However, to be fair to Tom... when Dave's wife left Dave it also broke up a family. Dave has a little girl and her having to go through a divorce and split time between her mommy and daddy has to be a shitty feeling knowing it happened because of informationin a diss track.

I don't like that Tom feels bad for that, I think he should own it and feel happy because he revealed the TRUTH. Whatever happens as a result is no fault of Tom's, Mac made those choices and he ultimately has to live with them.

While I agree it's not Tom's fault, it's also not the little girls fault who had her family ripped apart by her dad being a piece of shit and a stranger who exposed her dad for being a piece of shit. Knowing you are at least part of the cause has to be a very shitty feeling. Obviously this is what Tom is feeling and why he decided to not do diss tracks anymore. Maybe when you're older, more mature, actually go through some shit, or even get married and have kids you'll understand. Something I've noticed through my life is the people who have never struggled or been put through anything are always who have no understanding or empathy for anyone else, and when they finally do go through a little shit their whole world collapses and they don't understand why no one comes to rescue them.

I think Tom does love Nova like crazy. But his personality is overly sarcastic probably due to how his past has molded him. He likely has learned this way of talking to her as a defense mechanism. That’s probably what hooked her in the beginning. And she’s likely learned over time that that’s just how he is and how he shows her love. I wouldn’t think much deeper about it than that.
My wife and I talk shit to each other all the time, Just because you see the way other people talk to one another as "offensive" that doesnt mean that they do. Some people have different backgrounds, were not all snowflakes. lol

As an old fourth of five generations vets ( whose brothers, Uncles, Great Uncles and so on also served ) I love your patriotism and the fact that I exists with TBI and PTSD under a VA program for homeless vets and have seen what you do for us vets. In my eyes, your family are more American than most born here Americans, that cry like little bitches over hurt ass feelings because people like me won't join them in some make believe dream world they create to make themselves feel special. Salute to you! For being what America is about and not bowing to anyone other than God. As for your political songs, " I love the fact that you call out true facts, regardless of where they fall. For the record, being that I spend 95% of my time alone, it can get very easy for me to get lost in the battle within. Your music and your HOG family, I feel, is a big part of why I haven't lost to the battle within. Wisdom taught me too late, that you can get so wrapped up with the battle within, you can lose everything outside of it. Growing up a little white boy, that was half the size of everyone my age, in a not so nice of a place, where over 70% of my highschool was black. Your back story hit home me. I joined the US Army ( 1st, Inf ). In Detroit a week after turning 17. I was 5'1" tall and weighed 105 bls. Did almost four years before I was old enough to drink. Within 3 months of receiving my Honorable discharge, I enlisted in the US Coast Guard, in which I would receive my second Honorable discharge. You give me hope that my family's generational history wasn't a waste.

But, I understand that everyone's demonstration of love is different and that I have no insight into the rest of their lives together. I'm torn between thinking one would be on their best behavior while filming, and, they've stuck together for all these years through some dire circumstances so it just works for them. I did think it felt like he didn't want to be there, though. Almost like, "Fine, but let's get it over with. I've got other, more important, stuff to do." In which case I'd be really disappointed that he'd lost sight of the unwavering support and talent that boosted his rise. I hope I'm wrong and just reading too much into it.
I've listened to this song countless times and have "Ring" everything, and I missed the Ring sound until you mentioned it, it IS barely noticable, but its definitely there, an awesome little easter egg, that I'd bet NO ONE would ever know if you hadnt said anything. LMAO
