Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. 💕I forgot to mention in the video that this is an unscented soap. You could definitely add fragrance if you want, I just chose to leave it out for this technique. Thank you so much for watching! -- Holly 😊
Hi Holly, I know this design is a ghost swirl but is there another name for the actual pour, I.E. the center pour being different than the two sides. If that makes sense. Thank you.
@@soapsforlove4168 Hi Renee! I believe the actual swirl technique is called a feather swirl. Even though it's still a hanger swirl, the soap is poured in single lines above each other (middle or sides or even diagonal). That's how I've referred to it in the past, even though I'm not really creating a wispy feather design. I used the same technique in the Wonderland Christmas collab where I created the tree branches. Other than feather swirl, I've never heard any specific name for the way the soap is poured, though. 😊Hope this helps!
Beautiful soap! Thank you for sharing all your tips and techniques. I love how you explain EVERYTHING so completely. I have learned so much from you. Your voice is so soothing. Would you consider doing a video on how you line your wooden molds? It always looks so neat, straight and tidy.

I had read Auntie Claras blog but i found your video way better to understand, I gave it a try and it turned out ok, got the ghost effect, but my swirl wasnt good. Overall not bad at all! Thank you Holly for the tutorial 😊
Hi Holly, this is beautiful! I seen this before and its such a beautiful design, I love it!! You explain everything well. I hope I can be as good or half as good as you are 😊. Your voice is so calming, thank you for your beautiful works of soap art. Stay safe 💞
Hello~ I noticed a new fact that the transparency of soap varies with the amount of water. The ability is great! It makes me want to follow along. Have a nice day^^
Just tried to make your Xmas tree soap using a hanger through the middle, it wasn’t bad for a first try and that’s due to your video, thanks for doing these, they have helped me as a newbie so so much xxx
Lily, your comment just made my day! I'm so happy to hear you found my videos helpful! Thank you so much for watching them and for taking the time to let me know. 💕😊
Love the video and music and adore the soap! I would like to do a Castille soap with a ghost swirl, so many many thanks for the inspiration, another beautiful soap❤️🙏🏼
Hi Holly, let me start by saying I love your videos! Being new to soapmaking I find them extremely helpful. I know this one is now a couple years old but I'm wondering if you used any fragrance oil in these. I didn't see that you added any and was curious how that might effect the final design
If you look at the recipe she showed on soap Calc, that would be a very white soap. It has a high percentage of coconut oil. And when you compare the soap that gelled versus the soap that didn’t gel, I would assume that she used only the soap. No colorants. Pretty sure that was the terms of the soap challenge.
Thank you! No TD, colorants, or any additives were used other than the oils and lye. The contrast is strictly due to the different water contents - gel vs non-gel soap. 😊
Holly - Kapia Mera Soap Thank you., this was beautiful I’ll be trying this soon. I enjoy your videos as your voice is soo soothing and your explanations are wonderful.
