I was a little afraid that this album wouldn't be as good as the others, but jeez, this is incredible.

My God, never thought I would hear music like this in 2022. Mind blown. Incredible.

Griftwood is possibly the best song off Impera. It's so immaculately done.

Incredible riff, that takes you straight back to the 80's, to Van Halen, in short to that wonderful period, superlative song.

I like the way they unapologetically used these nostalgic old school melodies and made them sound better than ever. What an album!

Some people claim Ghost isn’t dark anymore. I ask them only this: Are they paying attention to the lyrics and atmosphere? This album is full of subtle dread and drips cynicism.

I'm afraid they'll never top Imperia. They set their bar extremely high.

This is the most underrated song on the album. They would have have won a Grammy if was the song they promoted.

As someone thats loved all their older albums and was kind loving prequelle I knew they would go in a new direction but wasn't expecting like an 80s rock ballad album. Its pretty good but still has to grow on me

Ghost. Clergy. Director. If you see this. This song is an absolute work of art. Along with this entire album. This is my new favorite Ghost song and holy shit it is so so sooooo effing good.

This song feels like a traumatized ex-christian finally being taken away from the toxicity of the church by the very people they were taught to fear and reject. Opening their eyes and being guided by them and shown their actual worth. "Are you righteous? Yes, you are, and you deserve everything you wanted that they told you you couldn't have. And I will be here to guide you as you receive it."

The vocals on this album are immaculate. His voice has gotten better and better with every album.

Upon listening to the album from end to end maybe 30-40 times, "Griftwood" stands out to me as the best overall track. There's points where I've listened to it 10 times in a row. There are so many little fills, riffs and awesome things going on.
