My problem is that their image kinda misrepresents their music. It makes them look like the typical Slipknot-ish antimelodic band that just screams and smashes the instruments. It makes them look very hardcore when they are more about melody.

Do you even know what you're talking about? Without an image all band would suck live, and they wouldn't attract any attention. What I'm saying is the image, which is what you notice first, gives a completely different impression than the music itself. That takes time getting used to, and I think it's a terrible move and that it gets in the way of their music. I'm not saying that they're a bad band, it's just that both me, and lots of other people, don't like them for that reason. If you DO like the fact that their image and music is way different, that's completely fine. Also, it's funny that James Hetfield said "they're a breath of fresh air" when Metallica is doing nothing but the same shit over and over, even when every single album that's come out since the 90's has utterly flopped.
